Is anybody with a home network using AVG 8.0 either the free version or the paid version. I an not able to access the internet on the computers on my network.

I have a computer that I use as the server that has 2 NIC's One to the cable modem and the other is connected to the server and the other PC's.

I put the 30 day trial offer version on the server and I can't get the internet. However I can see the other computers and do file transfers between them

Also I cannot delete AVG from the server. I get an error message when I try.

What kind of firewall program do you use?

what kind of OS?

and have you tried System Restore if you are running Windows? you can restore it to an earlier time and it may undo the changes AVG may have made to your comp.

this is all i can think of, I'm just a beginner computer programmer lol

I use the free version on three systems here. All Windows XP. No problems whatsoever. FWIW...
