"Everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma. They end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs when, if you, they just gave, they gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and uh, a breathalyser, or an inhalator, not a breathalyser. I haven't had much sleep in the last 48 hours, so."

He's soooooo smart. And eloquent.

The video shows why there should be as many townhall style debates as possible.

If Obama has to think on his feet, he hums, haws and verbally stumbles.

I just heard a second clip on the radio of Obama talking about the cost of something. I never found out what.

The Dems think President Bush is a bad speaker. This was really painful to listen to. He was verbally stumbling like a drunken sailor.

When I hear that clip, I think about him talking one on one with a world leader.

The second clip

Wow, maybe it was a Freudian slip, could it be? Maybe teleprompters were not avalible, how painful to listen to someone who does not know any verbage, but hope, change with nothing to back it up. No plan, A or B, really scary.

Oh that gives me so much confidence knowing that he might one day have his finger on the nuke button and go whoooops.

Thanks

That is funny, especially since McCain's latest blooper was that he will "veto every beer..."

I guess if all the beers are vetoed, we won't have to worry about the breathalyzers, therefor the problem of asthma will be solved!

That would be quite the conundrum for all the hillbillies and hilljacks in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky etc. Do they vote for Dem guy and risk losing their guns or do they vote for the Republican and lose their beer? We might have us another civil war. ; )

What's really scary is the number of people that will make a voting decision based on YouTube and chain e-mails.

You mean those e-mails aren't accurate?

No what is really scary is that people are making their voting decision based on his supposed oratory skills. When reading from a teleprompter with a prepared speech he has people swooning, fainting and chanting. This is what has everyone so geared up for Barack and ready to support him, not his politics since when all this started he never mentioned what change meant but everyone fell right in line.

In an episode of Cheers, I believe the 11th season, Woody runs for city council. Here is Frasier's advice to him:

"Just keep telling your farm stories, people seem to love them, and if that doesn't work, then just say change a million times."

As I recall, Woody won.

Speaking of "breathalyzers" -here's a funny one from McCain:

"I will veto every single beer:"

Being from Kentucky, I find your comment above to be rather offensive.

I don't like beer, I don't own a gun (although I'd like to), I own more than one pair of shoes, I'm not married to my half brother or cousin, I have all 32 adult teeth, I live in the largest or second largest urban area in the state.

I also attend a state university that is world renowned for the Law Enforcement program and has the best Law Enforcement program in the United States--which as a Criminal Justice major, I'm very proud to be apart of!

I don't seem to fit your stereotypes do I?

Speaking of emails, here's on I just received from a friend this morning:

I have 4 extra tickets for the Robbie Knievel event at Omaha Quest Center Arena next weekend if anybody wants them.

He's going to attempt to jump 500 Democrats with a bull dozer.

It should be a very enjoyable show!

Besides stereotyping, it's another fine example a limited knowledge of history. Neither West VA nor Kentucky seceded from the Union and joined the Confederacy in the 1st Civil War.

They were also slave states. However another civil war doesn't have to mean the same lines as the first one especially now that there is more money and more power in the south today. ; )

Relax, what I said was tongue in cheek and I mentioned nothing but beer and guns which was somewhat relevant after McCain just made a big deal out of visiting your state and cozying up to the NRA. Now had I gone into things like lack of running water, having to be taught how to use the handle on a toilet when you visit Ohio, keeping your horses to the right side of the road when riding down Ohio roads that would be one thing, but I didn't.

You'll be overworked and burned out on it by 40 just from prosecuting all the Bengals' players. ; )
