Anyone need prayer for depression? I just want to encourage you that God cares and that He's more than able to help you through the process to get to freedom.

This is a wonderful prayer~Praying in agreement for all those suffering from depression or overwhelming circumstances in life!

To those who suffer with Depression, God is with you.
(I would like to share part of my testimony.)
As far back as I can remember, I had Severe Depression. (Even as a child, and on into adulthood.) But to anyone who may suffer with Depression-Don't Give Up HOPE! Depression is no match for Christ's Power to heal and deliver! God can change any situation in the time it
takes you to blink. (I know. He did with me!) But for many years the dark cloud of Depression sucked the life out of me. I lost hope.
I even tried suecide. God had other plans though. And by God's grace
I am here today!) In a nutshell, I became a Christian, but still had Depression and very negative thinking. I sought help through Doctors, Counselors, Meds, etc. I finally found help through the Scriptures!
They are like medicine for my soul! Alone in my room at home I asked God for help as I remembered my painful past...It felt as if Huge Boulders were in my stomach grinding! I cried like a woman about to give birth!
A Scripture seemed to fall on me:
"For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Matthew 6:14,15)
I realized I had an unforgiving heart! I asked God to help me forgive everyone who had hurt me in the past. (He did!!!) Later the Lord showed me that I had other issues to deal with: Fear, Anger, Hate,and Jealousy.
I asked the Lord to take all of these! (He did!)
I felt like a prisoner that had been set FREE!
I know that Depression can be caused from many things.
I also know that God is greater and that He Can Deliver Anyone!
Just ask Him. (I am praying for all who need the Lord's healing touch. God bless you.)

I am praying for all who suffer from depression, God is the only way and can heal us of all things!!
I am not depressed but I feel as though I am being pulled back and forth. I have become very focused on God and finally gotten to a better place. I listen to my christian talk radio to and from work, I am in my bible, I go to church and try to get involved (I could do better though), and I have gotten myself out of a situation that I know was wrong, but I keep being pulled back in and out of it. I feel as though I am going to anger the Lord, and that I will not have any answered prayer or blessings if I do not straighten my mess out. I am seeing a christian counselor who is great to be able to talk with and vent to, and it soooo helps! I am trying to do right and get on track, but I feel like I am sometimes in a fog, and really heartbroken over my situation. It is though I am dealing with a loss. But, am I losing my answered prayers and blessings, am I going to anger God? I know he knows my heart, I know he knows I do things out of concern and caring but it is not totally 100% right and I know that...
Just pray for me, I almost feel like it is torture and I really need to hear God talk to me and just get me out of this. I talk to many people that say they hear God speak directly to them instantly, they have answered prayers immediately, why is it like that for all of them and not for me? I know its all according to Gods will, but I am really confused...
Thanks everyone....just pray for me.....

I am still praying as well..But WOW, what a turn around for me. I PRAISE GOD, he has really shown himself to me since I posted the above on 5/05...Amazing!! Things are really changing
in my life, and now God is maybe wanting me to go on a mission trip sometime soon. I know
there is one coming up in september, whatever God wants me to do I will do it!!

Yes I do, I am having a hard time dealing with letdowns. This last week I had a huge letdown and I still
can`t get ahold of this person I`m trying to call, please pray God`s perfect will be done.

My daughter could really use your prayers. She is sixteen yrs old and she is so depressed it isn't funny. she has had to be hospitalized before for this and it is getting to that point again. I have contacted her counselor today and we are going to try and get her admitted again. Please keep us in your prayers as I am at my wits end and I just don't know what to do anymore.
