Prayers for the firefighting forces in California and the western U.S.
Father God,
Thank You for loving us. Thank You for those who feel called to endure the extreme heat and danger of firefighting, in our own home towns and especially in California and western US. I pray safety, endurance, quick and clear thinking, rest, vigilence, and victory for them in protecting the citizens they serve. Help there be learning from such incidents as to how future ones may be prevented. Be with the families that flee their homes and the support agencies that are in action to help them. Thank You for the cooler weather in the southeast US, and please continue to comfort and protect those facing flooding and devastation of what they know as home.

Our Heavenly Father,
We ask that you give protection to those who are fighting the fires in Ca. and the Western part of the USA.
We ask that you keep them safe & secure as they do the work they've been called for.
We ask that you also watch over the ones who have lost everything and give them peace & comfort.
We ask that you draw all of us closer to you Father God.
We give you ALL the honor, praise & glory that you so richly deserve.

Yes, can you say a little prayer for me?
I am in Northern California, in a semi-rural area with hugh trees and alot of brush.
It has been so smokey here for days. I don't want to complain because I am grateful the fire is not on top of us. The fires are all around us. Please pray for my protection, my house and my cats....We had a horrible fire here back in the early 90's. The fire season has never started so early here, as far as I can recall...

Father God,
I pray in agreement with brothers and sisters of this community for CherishedbyGod and her family of cats, that you protect them from harm and loss, and that fires near her die out. Be with everyone living in smoky air, especially the elderly who do not need aggravated breathing. Continue to bless the volunteer services doing what they feel called to do, and deny access to those who would use adversity to their own benefit through theft and vandalism.

Heavenly Father,
Please continue to safekeep CherishedbyGod and all Californians who live, eat, and breathe smoke during these days of firefighting. Lord, bring rapid closure to these fires- cause them to run out of underbrush and be extinguished by their own smoke. Protect those who continue to do battle with them, and comfort families who now realize all they have left are themselves.

Lord, praying for the elderly and children who are sensitive to smoke.
I ask that the fires would be put out and that people could remember only the sense of community, and love for one and other... that this has brought to our minds and hearts.
God is surely in control...I see him working in many people in our town. Compassion for others around us... that this fire has made us see... and the determination of hard working firemen.

I pray Lord for the firefighters to be alert,safe and efficient.
Keep them safe Lord and help them in everyway.
Give them energy,strength,and revitalize them as they continue to work so many hours.
Lord I pray you would help the fires to go out.
I pray the winds would be calmed and the fires would die out.
