"Where California goes, America follows" - Gavin Newsome, SF Mayor

Don't follow California. The 3.97 per (regular) gallon here is bad enough. Not to mention a person getting shot to death in their dry cleaning business every other week and a race riot / shutowns in schools every 6 months or so.

One of these days the cost of living in California will be manageable, and that's when our friends in the bible belt need to flood this place so inept leaders like Villaraigosa and Newsome aren't elected. Oh, did I mention the LA mayor had an affair with a reporter who was covering him, and his wife divorced him?

I love Cali and their many cultural diversity, but some days.....

I love and miss California terribly ... but I do not miss their public officials! However... where I live now is no better... So Oregon. The politicians here have their heads in the sand so far they can see China (or Australia... whatever! (sorry ) It's just the truth though! This is the only state that I'm aware of where the killing off of the sick and elderly is legal! (Euthanasia). And they call (as many other states) the act of killing an innocent baby, a "right."
Talk about going to hell in a hand-basket!

Pray for revival in these states!!! Please!!!

Oh... and I so agree about the wonderful Bible Belt. We were blessed to visit many churches throughout Iowa and MO while visiting family last year.... what a time of refreshment!

Blessings...
Pastor Debi

I know how you feel pstrdebi, im from so. oregon, chiloquin (just a little jog above Klamath falls ), now in Denver. But i do miss the beauty of it terribly, but *ugh*, the political climate there is deep blue, almost purple. I like to call it the Massachusetts of the west coast.

"...Massachusetts of the West Coast..." HA!!! That's a good one!

We live in Shady Cove... just about 30 miles north of Medford!
Small world!

Ahhhh California...I don't miss the smog one bit. And I don't miss the fast speed car chases, the road rage, the shootings, the loud Ranchero/Mariachi music from the neighbors, or the street racing rice-rockets neener neener neenering down the road at 3 in the morning.

But, I do miss IN-N-OUT Burgers very VERY MUCH!
