I LOVE your music!!! I especially like your worship album - it's frequently in my CD player. :) One of my favorite songs on Hearts of the Innocent is "Smile". I was wondering what your inspiration behind this song was? Thanks! :)

ok here is a sad story i have for jon micah and then i will ask my questions: ok i rescued two baby squirrels and i named the boy after u and he was a happy lil sweet squirrel and then he got really really sick and i had like tons of people praying for him adn he got better but after that he was retarded. lol. but he was still sweet. but then he tried to eat too fast and he choked on his food. so um yeah i thought u should know : ) lol. it was really sad. questions: 1. yes as far as the story behind smile goes (i know somebody already asked that) it is NOT a guy/girl song, right? somebody told me that but i thought it was about how people can tell that we as Christians are different than they are. 2. how is ryan's family doing? i understand if that's private, but ever since i found out i have been praying for him and his wife and his little girl. 3. this isn't exactly a question but i just wanted to tell u guys that i think its really cool how ya'll do those free outreach concerts with c28. ya'll are reaching people that mite not be reached otherwise and i just wanted to tell ya thanks : ) 4. what is your fav bible verses?

In the song "Let You In" there is a person who does a little rap and a person who screams at the end. It sounds kinda like Tobymac and Ryan Clark, but who is it?

HEY GUYS!!!! Your band is so cool! I can't wait until your next album comes out! What is it going to sound like? (harder, softer, deeper lyrics, better than Hearts of the Innocent) I was hoping you'd be back again last November at Platt in Connecticut since you did it the year before that with RUNKIDRUN, RED, Disciple, and yourselves. Will you ever do that again? Thanks for being an awesome band!

My favorite songs: Sea of Faces, Your Touch, and Run. Anything you can say about those songs? What is the inspiration behind them, what they mean to you?? Thanks.

I was wondering what your inspiration behind this song was? Thanks! :) The song is a specific story of something that actually really happened on one of our travels. I was on an airplane and sat next to a lady that asked me what I was doing and where I was headed. I told here I was in a band. She asked me about the band name and the significance behind the band name. I said that we were all Christian guys. She said, "I know." And I asked her how she knew. She said that when we walked on the airplane there was a smile on your faces and a joy in your heart. We didn't even have to say anything about our faith and what we were doing and it was refreshing. Come to the acoustic tour for more about the inspiration about that song!

ORIGINAL: heygirl03 james what fav kind music listen to Obviously rock and roll is what we do and what we love. But because we do it all the time we find our listening tastes leaning different directions sometimes. We listen to a lot of classical and mellow stuff too. Also, a ton of pop rock like All American Rejects. We listen to a lot of that lately for something different.

ORIGINAL: leelandlover How did y'all start as a band and how do you write you songs. what is your fav. part about playing live? We met in college and started playing music together in Portland, OR. From there, we started doing original music and started playing local shows. James ran into an A&R guy at the mall at a skate shop he was working at. That guy came over to our house and heard us jam in the basement and he loved it. The favorite part of playing live is the crowd. It's no fun if people don't show up. It's kinda boring. It's like soundcheck. Haha.
