Christian Symposium Offers Different Take on Aliens at Roswell UFO Festival

ROSWELL, New Mexico, May 12 /Christian Newswire/ -- Alien Resistance, a Christian counter-cult outreach ministry, will hold an all-Christian-speaker Symposium on aliens during the annual Roswell UFO Festival July 3-5th, 2009. The 11 participants include 4 PhDs, 2 doctorates of ministry, 2 pastors, 2 ordained ministers, and several pastoral counselors, with 12 books written between them on the UFO/Alien topic. The Symposium will educate on the UFO/alien topic from a Biblical Christian perspective, with emphasis on counter-cult evangelism, creationism, and spiritual warfare. The event is free for the public to attend, and will be held at the Best Western Sally Port Inn Ballroom. Tens of thousands of people interested in the UFO/Alien topic are expected to attend the Roswell UFO/Alien Festival this year.
Organizers assert that, "From a Biblical Christian perspective it becomes clear that 'aliens' are actually the evil spirits of the Bible.

So, all aliens are evil spirits? I dunno the Bible also talks about angels and they aren't from this earth.

I suppose some can be angelic, if by angels you mean good ones but my belief is that the vast majority are demonic in nature. There are two reasons 1) their characteristics and 2) after Christ came, there is no need for angelic visitors to bring any type of message which some of these aliens claim to do. I realize there may be instances where good angels may help a person out of a certain fix such as the time they left the apostles out of jail and as Hebrews says are "ministering spirits". But they come as a servant to man, not the other way around.
But I can't imagine angels coming as aliens that look like grays that scare the tar out of a little kid, or angels that get their jollies doing experiments on people that sound like Genesis 6 and so forth. In addition, such alien activity has been undoubtedly associated with other dark forces such as shadow people, the Hat Man, poltergeists, and so on. I would be inclined to believe that the good angels would at least appear to man as the more attractive Nordic type, but even these have been associated with the grays, Reptilians and so forth. Besides, the Nordics always have one of those 'messages' that are supposed to help mankind. Again, we have the bible for the final revealed Word.
So, I believe they are angels, but the wrong type.

I do not waste much time on this subject; I will say that I have no clue if God put folks on other planets or not. I do know that it has no effect on us if He did, or if He did not. God is certainly not under any obligations to tell us every thing He has ever done.
