Status: offline 		Is there anyway of closing down an e-mail account? I would like to change my screen name and possibly get rid of all this junk that I'm getting in my e-mail. Thanks!

Status: offline 		You can just start a new one and update your address with any sites/accounts you want to conitnue to get mail from. yahoo, google, msn(windows live) all have free web email accounts.

Status: online 		And more or less "abandon" the old email account. Just make sure that you tell all your friends that you are not using the email address anymore.
