These posts keep going away... The other day my son asked me if he could do something. I said no, because he hadn't completed XYZ yet. He turned and walked away slumped over with his head hanging, and said... "I'm so sad I'm lower than a vine without a trellis."

My husband is famous for talking to people by the hour (not against their will; I 'spect their wives are wondering where their husbands are, too...). Anyway, DH was driving home from some event with DD, and he stopped and said to her, "I have to talk to this guy; I'll just be a minute." She pointed into the sky and said, "Look! A pig!"* Brat! LOL *I didn't get it at first - the reference is "If pigs could fly." She knew he was incapable of talking for just a minute.

My two daughters were in the back seat of our car on a long trip and we always say bless you when they sneeze. It just so happened that my oldest sneezed on the back of my youngest's head and my youngest started crying saying that here sister had blessed on her. It was so innocent and cute she started laughing when we explained it to her.

Occasionally (about 2X a year) I will dye my hair to hide the grey. DD11 told me the other night that I needed to do it again. DS speaks up and says "No she doesn't. SHe's pretty just the way she is." Got to love that little guy. ETA: So, I bought a kit today and dyed my hair. WHen I was tucking dd in she said "You look different. You don't look old anymore" With a big grin on her face.

The other day my son was in his room when he called for me, I responded, "what do you need baby doll?" He walked out of his room and came up to me with this look on his face and spouted, "Momma I am not a baby doll. I am a BOY!" CMT
