A letter that was written by Einstein in I think 1954 pretty well spells out difinitively his stance on Religion and more specifically the Jewish people

"The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish.
Sounds like every other agnostic/atheist on the planet earth. Doesn't sound much different than Bill Maher or Christopher Hitchens or the like.
Or in past days Nietzche, Russell and of course S. Freud.
That's what he believed then . . I think his views are different now.
