Does anyone use Essential Oils if so tell me how you like them.

I use them for various things. When I buy lotions and soaps, I prefer them to be scented with essential oils instead of fragrance oils. I use them in the body butter that I make.

I did see one massage therapist who was sort of into some "mystical" type of stuff (I only went to her twice---it made me uncomfortable) and she used White Angelica (even talked me into buying a bottle for $40, which I haven't used since) and she seemed to feel it had some sort of power.

I use some for different things. My wife is a HHP, so I do as she instructs me to.

I use them, and love them. I like the idea of using natural things on my skin and in my lungs instead of the toxic things that are sold for our comfort. They work just as well or better than many cosmetics and OTC meds sold.

I don't know the company you posted and you may want to check their ingredients to make sure they are all natural. I've been burnt by marketing like "with essential oil" and "natural ingredients" where they mix a bit of natural/essential oil with toxic ingredients. There are lots of companies wanting to capitalize on the natural push without actually being a high quality, 100% natural product.

I normally buy raw ingredients online from Camden Grey and mix them up as I need them. This weekend I used lemongrass oil to ward off bug bites. Today, I'm having a sinus headache and will probably use peppermint oil in a few minutes. Tomorrow, I may take a long bath with lavendar oil.

My regular doctor is a degreed, state-licensed Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, and he tells me certain safe and pure essential oils to use from time to time. For example, for a cold I will add 10 drops of eucalyptus oil and 20 drops of lavendar oil to boiling water, take the pot off the burner, and (carefully, so as to not be burned) breathe in the steam. Wow, it really clears things up!

There aren't very many Western Doctors that actually agree with the Essential Oils or any kind of homeopathic medications. I don't know that it's documented that they work. I am definitely going to do my own research.

All of the above suggestions are great!! Those are the types of things that I do. The lady that makes my shampoo bars also sells two types of reed diffusers (to make a room smell nice)---one line uses fragrance oils, but the other uses only pure essential oils. At my health food store, I can get a "perfume" that's an essential oil blend that smells really good.

As with food, you really have to read labels.
