Has anyone here ever read the book? If so, how did it effect you? Do you think that it is a book you would have your daughter read?

Is this a book that came out in the 70's? I haven't read it, but it might be the one a friend of mine talked about back when I first got married. She and her friend read it and decided to go all out and follow the advice. It was all about being very feminine and being what men supposedly wanted in a woman. They were going to a Bible college at the time, and boys just flocked to them. The friend had a marriage proposal within the month! My friend said they felt so false for doing this, they abandoned it right away. Within the year, my friend met her future husband, a very outdoorsy man who was just her style!
