SO . . . these brownies that are cooling . . . can I freeze them without harming them in any way? Absolutely not. Fedex them to me immediately.

LOL Kerr!!! Saran Wrap each individually, then toss them in a freezer ziploc. (Can you tell I've done stuff like that before? Maybe I'm obsessive ... nah!!)

Definitely allow them to cool completely. Otherwise they will sweat inside the saran wrap and make them soggy, in which case you might as well eat them all now. Or FedEx them to Kerr ...

heehee I'm actually trying not to bake anymore . . . well except for when I have company or when someone does an unexpected favor for me, or when it's someone's birthday or anniversary or, when someone needs a celebration in their life, or when someone needs an encouragement, or when it's raining, or when it's sunny, or when someone wants me to fed-ex them some goodies . . . but other than that . . .

LOL I'm done baking until November. It's too hot for me to heat up the place by baking. So I'm safe for a while.

I don't do any holiday baking. - really, can ya believe it? Well, I guess I should go clean up my kitchen. I wish these brownies would hurry and cool; the aroma is driving me insane! OH!!!! Wait! Lawn man just came back into the neighborhood. Please pray he stays until I can give him the brownies.

I freeze brownies all the time...and they turn out fine heated in the microwave!!! I like to use the stone cookie sheet with sides to bake them in (cause the sides stay nice and moist and don't get hard!!!), but to do it and make them the right thickness I have to use two packages of brownie mix at a time. So We put most of them in the freezer. As the others said...individually wrap in plastic wrap (or freezer paper) and place in a zip top baggie or plastic bowl with a lid. When you reheat them it works best to cover them with or place in the microwave a wet paper towel (for the moisture).

Is it ok to just let then air-thaw? (As the only reason I would probably be freezing brownies is if I were baking them for someone else).

I'm thinking that if the opportunity every presents itself again that I would take them out of the freezer, unwrap them and put them on a plate with a paper towel underneath them and then let them air thaw (with perhaps a paper towel over them as well). How does that sound to you?
