MAN GIVES BIRTH
An earlier thread on this subject seems to have disappeared, so I am providing the update.

Men cannot give birth. The headlines stating that a man gave birth are outright lies. I don't even understand why this is news or why people are so facinated that this woman gave birth. She's not a man. People should be able to figure that out. Men cannot get pregnan or give birth. Everyone used to know this, but suddenly the masses are confused about what is a man and what is a woman. It's insane.

Depends on your definition of man. Gender is much more than just genitals. I could type up a long thesis about it, but I won't. I don't think it is amazing since he didn't go so far as to get a hysterectomy, so he still had the right "equipment" to conceive and carry a child. The pictures of him in People were oddly fascinating in the same way you slow down and stare at a car wreck on the interstate. Anyway, you get a situation like the movie Junior and then you'd have a truly amazing phenomenon, since it would be completely impossible. I was a little underwhelmed by this story.

Why do you refer to her as "him"?. It is incorrect. God made her a woman, and there is nothing that can change that no matter how long a thesis it would be.

I guess the only thing heartening to me personally is that I'm not so jaded that I can't still get physically ill at this kind of depravity.

The Bible tells us that Satan is a great liar, who can and will manipulate words, appearances, and concepts, etc. to gain his own ends. We need to be ever alert to these things.

Amen. He calls good evil and evil good and then gets lots of people to believe him. We have got to be focused on truth, so we can spot the lies and be able to deal with them effectively.

To disagree with what someone has said is not flaming. No one suggested that he's not saved or even that's he's a bad person. The point is that we can tell if a person is a male or female based on their physicaly characteristics. (unless there is a serious deformity) When someone is born, we don't say, "It's a person!" We say, "It's a boy or it's a girl," because gender can be determined by simply looking.
The Bible says:
Genesis 5:2
2 He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them Man in the day when they were created.
Redefining gender is evil. It is vital that we understand that there is such a thing as truth regarding gender. We cannot go around redefining truth and expect to maintain our ability to think properly. That is moral relativism. Once we get on a slippery slope of moral relativism, we are on dangerous ground. Even our salvation is based on truth. The devil wants us to do away with truth in some things, so he can confuse us even about the truth of Christ's sacrifice and our eternal salvation. It doesn't matter where moral relativism starts. It all leads to the same place. We have to nip it in the bud and not allow it to grow.
