- Is the HAMP Guide launched yet for homeowners to modify their loan? I am so very desperate to modify my loan…please please Jesus..help me…

Personally, I don't think you need to pay money to get the information necessary to have your loan modified. Contact your loan servicer immediately to begin the process - it can take a fair amount of time and persistence to actually get it done. Don't be put off by an initial negative response - keep trying and document everything. You'll need tax returns, pay stubs, information on your other expenses (utility bills, bank statements, statements on other debts, etc.) If you try and get lost in the process, then I'd spend the $97. I do believe the guide is out there though if you need it.
