I have a work but my salary is just enough for my family's daily needs without anything for extra expenses. But the good thing is, it's convenient coz it's not far from home. I have enough time for my children. And most importantly, I don't have work on Sundays. It's a big factor for me because I really love serving the Lord. I am a worship leader in our church. But there is a job offer for me with a higher salary, more than double than my present income. But it's really far from home and I have to stay there away from my family. And aside from that, no Sunday day-off....meaning, my ministry will be at risk. Do I have to accept the offer? For me, its not right to compromise things especially for the Lord...but I still want to seek advise because my family is in deep financial needs.

You don't HAVE to do anything. No one's holding a gun to your head and telling you to accept the offer. List out the pros and cons, and take it to the Lord in prayer.

Amen to that. Pray first, and follow His lead. I can promise that He'll take care of your needs as long as you do so.

ask God to help you find osmething that will meet your financial needs, but won't sacrifice family time or ministry. You may have to curtail some ministry activities, but you can share the gospel at work. there's a ram in the thicket. There always is.

Is it an option for your to move your family with you? Doubt very seriously you couldn't also find a church home where you'll reunite with a dear friend - God - and can continue your ministry. God needs help everywhere, your finances can improve and you'd be with your family.

Our priorities are: 1. God 2. Mate 3. Children 4. Job As spiritual beings, everything we do is spiritual. If you are eating and have clothes, the Apostle Paul said we have enough. As you pray and meditate on the Scripture surrounding these ideas, I think God will make it clear to you. I am praying for you today.

Pray about it. And if the Lord says no, remember, these aren't the only two jobs in the world. He might open up another way.
