I have a friend who's a committed Christian but has been struggling on two fronts.
Firstly they've been looking to change jobs for about three years but has not been successful in finding a suitable new position despite putting a lit of effort into finding jobs.
Secondly they've not felt settled at their church over a 10 year spell culminating in them moving to a new church, in fact a church plant and after 18 months, still feeling very unsettled.
They are wondering what more they can do to resolve these two issues in their life and have wondered if they could be related. They've had various advice on the matter - for example sort your church out and the job will sort itself out - and equally vice-versa!
They are tired and exhausted trying to resolve these issues. They are in their words - 'all prayed up' but recognise they need to continue to bring these issues in pray.
What else can they do and how can I best encourage and if possible help them to resolve these issues?
Prayful, constructive help would be most appreciated. Thank you.

- 1> It could be the right jobs are not yet available or God wants them to work in a different area/field than they are looking.
2> Problem: Often our best is not good enough.
Solution: Pray "Thy will be done." & put it in our capable Heavenly Father's hands. In His perfect time He will fix it. -
I agree. I also have to say that maybe he is where God wants him to be. Maybe someone at his job is searching and may come and talk to him. Maybe this church he is at now will wind up being his permanent church home. He needs to pray about it, and in Gods timing he will show him the answers.

Tell your friend to pray and ask God for his/her set place. God places us in the body as he pleases. I think that goes for work and church. Only God knows where your friend is needed.
