Are the attacks on Fox News, the concern with who owns the St. Louis Rams simply plots thrown out by the administration to hijack the news to keep everyone off of B0's real agenda? Did they perhaps arrange for Michelle Obama to wear shorts on Air Force One, get Malia the hippy peace sign t-shirt, and get gimpy gifts for Gordon Brown and the Queen to distract from B0's secular, humanistic, satanic, world unifying agenda? I'm starting to think that they do this stuff on purpose so they can ram their agenda down our throats while their opposition gets all in a tizzy over what is mostly minor issues. What do you all think? Are they intentionally doing these things to distract from their core agenda?

I voted yes, it is amazing to me that there is a healthcare bill about to be rammed down our throats with the public option that we were told wouldn't be in it but we are more worried about pettiness. I do have a little concern with the Fox issue but not because it is Fox but just with the government attacking any press outlet in general. The government buying a greater stake in GMAC got hardly a nod, the government taking over student loans, not a peep. Me thinks the "righteously" indignant are confused.

Yes this administration is and, yes, the last one did and the next one probably will, too.

The Daily Show had a segment on this last night, showing two clips of Cal Thomas on Fox News. One was from a week ago, where he lambastes the Obama administration for calling out Fox News. The other was from a couple of years ago where, on the same show, he praises the Bush administration for calling out MSNBC saying that "after seven years of this, the Bush administration finally decides to stand up to the press." There is not a more perfect example of the hypocrisy of the right on this issue. There were also a couple of clips of Fox News anchors (and not just the pundits) telling viewers that if they cannot make it to their own local Tea Party rally, all they have to do is go to Fox Nation where they can join in online. Seriously, why should the President be deferential to a media organization that has actively organized, encouraged and participated in partisan political demonstrations against him? Obama wasn't the one who went looking for a fight, Fox News beat him to the punch by months.

Can't lay it out because then it's just labeled a conspiracy. I vote YES. But I give Michelle credit she may have done those stupid things on her own. But then again, looks like we have Hillary II in the house. It will take a third party to change anything.

I can't provide the link here because it's likely the clip has a couple of bleeped out swear words. All you need to do is find the Daily Show web site and go to the video section where you will be able to find the full video of last night's show (if not now, then in another few hours).

The only incoherent rump I can think of is Robert Gibbs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bd2j90UyIP8 Somebody needs to buy Gibbs a new spinometer. Perhaps we at Rõ©k Enterprises Ltd. will give one to the guy from our R&D dept. Take_a_Deep_Breath_Gibbs It's like, I'm not "even trying".

That's the general rule, right? Those in opposition don't try, they just say no.

Barry Soetoro hasn't managed to distract anyone from a "progressive" liberal agenda that they don't already promote and support themselves. The sideshow is not really a distraction, but it's just something that entertain's liberals. Liberals don't really care about protocol, especially in this country, because they have no regard for that tradition to start with. Nobody really cares how Soetoro's 'ol lady mocked the United States Air Force by prancing down the steps of Air Force One in some trashy shorts and tank top. Bowing to arab sheiks and Japanese Emperors Bow_to_me is just the present day liberal sleazy version of the Kennedy Camelot. Before you merge or amalgamate the United States into some cauldron of a freak one world theocracy, you first have to be sure that the United States is submissive in order for that to happen. Barry Soetoro is pretty much on par with that, in the mideast and asia, apologizing for America's past transgressions. The agenda didn't start with this pathetic administration, it's just , or should be, blatantly obvious. People are already aware that it's been going on for quite some time. That is to say "progressing", you know, as in "progressive" liberal? I thought I'd clue you in on that little sidenote and I hope people manage to take a hint, so to speak. http://www.newswithviews.com/Craig/roberts10.htm So, no. Not really. There is no real diversion from any agenda to speak of, but I believe that it is indeed a distraction from one fact that alot of people simply don't seem to grasp. The fact that Barry Soetoro is an imported indonesian/Kenyan socialist John Kerry Version II clone, only worse, anti-American U.N. pandering opportunistic pompous fraud.

Actually, my post regarding Barry Soetoro and his staff is quite substantial and consummate. Unfortunately, I didn't leave enough room for my castigation of the inept gofer and court jester, Gibbs.

Thanks for that last link rockominal. He laid out what I found out on my own in the 80's. But no exposure will change the minds of the followers.

Yet more people spend more time reading about his wife's shorts, his bow in Japan, the dvd's to Gordon Brown then they've spent reading the health care bill. I'm going by the thread Fritz started where he gives everyone the chance to share their information on what they have learned from their intimate knowledge of the legislation that they have read. I bet however you could tell us what brand of shorts, what color, what particular line Michelle had on though and that isn't going to do anything to help or inform the nation on what good old BS is trying to do.
