Hello Folks, So what do y'all think of James White the apologist? He is a Reformed Christian who is a 5 point Calvinist. I've listened to his show "The Dividing Line" frequently. While I'm not a Calvinist, I do enjoy his show and believe he is able to successfully and confidently debate Muslims, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, King James Onlyism, and Roman Catholics. (to mention a few) Recently, he devoted the entirety of a Dividing Line to Black Liberation Theology, which further opened my eyes to its destructiveness within the body of Christ. Look forward to your comments. Heavendweller

I just heard a sermon from James White on YouTube. It appears that he is a firm believer and a defender of (predestination, God's elect, & God's Sovereignty). I don't know anything about his ministry but if anyone is curious, here is the website (aomin.org). Everyone should read his "Statement of Faith" and "Autobiography," then compare it with scripture and draw their own conclusion.

Thanks for responding, faithful. With all the Calvinists on Crosswalk, I expected to hear more comments. I was listening to the Dividing Line last night (a good one) and I watch his Youtubes regularly. Although I am not a Calvinist, I must admit I rather fancy Mr. White. And his serious approach toward the gospel and the Christian life are evident. Heavendweller

Since James White is unknown to the Christian community (including myself), lets put aside his sermons for a moment. Instead, lets talk about his "Statement of Faith" and "Biography." Have you read them? I read through it and everything appeared to be based on scripture. Please tell me what your opinions are about his life and works, because this is what really matters. It is always good to hear a different perspective.

I have only become acquainted with James White (via the Net) a year or so ago. He presents the Reformed perspective pretty clearly. Besides the Reformed v. Arminian perspective, he also does a thorough job with apologetics. I didn't know I was Arminian until a Calvinist told me. Anyway, I check out his YouTube clips and his website often.
