Please come and join us at 8:30 eastern time for a Bible Study led by christianDaughterofJesus and myself. We currently are studying the book of Matthew.

On Monday evening we studied the baptism and Jesus's temptation. Thursday we will be studying the beginning of Jesus's ministry and the calling of the the first disciples. So, please read Matthew 4:12-22.

Questions:

Why do you think that Jesus was preaching to the people of his time to repent as the time of the kindom is near? Considering we are here today.

Why do you think that first disciples left everything to follow a stranger who told them he would make them "fisthers of me?"

This is an update of a few more questions:

How does Jesus react to John's imporsement?
How had they lived in darkness?
What Jesus' message?
What invitations did Jesus give these fishermen?
What seems unusual about their response?
What prior knowledge of Jesus do you think they had?
How might Zedbedee felt?

There has been a few changes to the Monday and Thursday Bible Study. We are no longer taking any nominations.

We will be studying Acts chapter 2 on Thursday, sorry to those who have read the Matthew stuff.

I will be the Assistant Bible Study Leader, please feel free to pm any questions or post them here so i can bring them to the Bible Study.
