As a worhip leader that has been in several churches as well as praise teams throughout the years. I cant understand why we struggle so much in the northeast especially New Hampshire getting people in church and if you do getting people involved as well as giving financially. It gets so bad that many a pastor musician etc often feel like throwing in the towel.
Being a worship musician I have never been to a worthip conference as they all seem to be held down south or other parts which would require costs far beyond what most of us could afford.
Also its very very rare in New hampshire to see paid worship leaders like you would see in texas or florida or tennessee for instance even forming praise teams is very difficult.
If you mention to most people you are a christian musician its like being a drug addict would be more popular. any answers or advice why this is this way and how we can change it?
Praise the LORD!!! Account yourself as blessed of the LORD! For all that you suffer through here in this world will only be to the glory of GOD in the KINGDOM. I face the same, just as most Christians do, remember that JESUS told us that these things would come the way of all those that love HIM. As time for HIS second coming draws nearer we shall suffer even worst problems. When this happens, lift up your hands and praise HIS holy name and that HIS coming is nearer than ever before. I've been working for the LORD for over 12 yrs. now and every cent has come out of pocket, yet I count it nothing in comparison to the price HE paid for me!
