OK gang we are allowed to have a game thread or two here in the singles folder, so lets have some suggestions for November. I'll start a new game thread on Monday morning November 2.

Yay, game threads! Thanks for stepping up... I know rgod hasn't been able to be here very often to keep up with the games. I'll have to think of a few... I know that years ago, we did a "Thread Killer" game that was fun. And there are a few variations on the "Ask a question" game. I look forward to seeing what others have to say.

I like the "Write a Story" games -- and the story doesn't have to be about a romance. Also... the "This or That?" kinds of things. Or the "Answer a Question; Ask a Question" one.

I really liked the "ask a question" thread. It was a great way to take a 20 minute brain break form my late night studies. quote:
I like the "Write a Story" games -- and the story doesn't have to be about a romance. Please, please. Any game is fine as long as that it doesn't allude to dating or romance. There are already a zillion threads in the singles forums that discuss those two topics ad nauseam.

Great idea... we haven't seen the "write a story" game in a while... or if so, then it was when I was in a crazy-busy time. Here's a few we haven't done in a while to get some ideas going: Lyrics & Movie Quotes Corrupted Wishes You might be single if... Would you rather... I like the "Ask a question, answer a question" game too... I agree with Samson... great for those study breaks.

How about "worst thing to say..." or "bad advice". Those were a lot of fun to play in the games forum.

Has there been a decision on a game thread yet?

I've always liked the question game. Not big on the lyrics game because I'm lousy at knowing lyrics. I'm trying to think of a game that could include being thankful in it somehow, but I'm coming up blank.
