Just a quick note . . . . Pengie has posted in my thread last night!! I am so excited to see her! She's been thru, and is still going thru quite an ordeal, but she's still here -- with us! Please continue to pray for her!

Thank you ALL for hanging with me and for each and every prayer on my behalf. I'm sorry I have neglected my thread so badly, but I just haven't had much strength. I have had a tough winter. Been mostly on bedrest. Now I am starting to move about again and am seeing several new specialists. Among them are two therapists that are trying to help me with my PTSD. I am finally learning some coping skills for all the flashbacks and panic attacks. I am also seeing a new DR for my migraines that uses biofeedback to teach patients how to control their bodies in order to try to help with the pain. I have a finger thermometer and I can actually raise the temp of the blood in my hands by 6 degrees with these execises. Thus pulling the blood away from my head, and taking the pain with it. My husband is also having to learn new things. Like not picking on my dogs, which is a threatening behavior to me. The therapist is insisting that my husband own up to his deeds that caused my PTSD (and are still triggering it). We have our work cut out for us, to say the least. On a good note, though, my husband IS willing to try. A surprise this week . . . my husband bought me a new car! A cute little blue Saturn. He also says he wants me to feel better so that we can spend time together. He seems genuine about it, too. Just the same, I am always on guard for mood swings. One thing is sure. I have always had Christ. He is my Rock. Anytime I need Him, I just ask Him to come close and He is right there, ready to hold me up. I know He won't let me fall.

ORIGINAL: Pengie Hello This is Pengie's daughter. I'm not sure which forum to put this in, so I just picked this one. My mom, her name was Kathy, died last Monday April 13. She was in a lot of pain and had a lot of bleeding. I know she feels better now. She wanted me to let you all know and say thanks for all the prayers.

So sad! I have Pengie's address and would like to send her family a card. If there is anything you would like me to include from you, send it to me via pm or e-mail (magdaleine@gmail.com) and I will include it in the card. Pass the word around to those who knew her, please. Maggie

Thankyou so much for doing that, Maggie. I just don't have any words right now. I wish I did. Something to really honour Kathy.

I see Kathy's thread getting lower and lower down the list, and even though I know she's gone, I can't bear to let her thread slip from existance. Am I being silly?

Sillyness, or not being able to bear seeing the thread go?

Makes sense. Sorry. I went away from the keyboard. I was feeling so overwhelmed by all the deaths of people that I know, both online and offline. Plus, there's a whole pile of other things going on in my life too.

My Mom's favorite Scripture: Psalm 40 1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry. 2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. 3 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the LORD. Heather
