Pray for my friend's dad please - 5/7/2008 4:46:24 PM

My friend's dad is having open heart surgery tomorrow. He's very nervous about the whole thing, and so is his family. He has been in and out of the hospital several times recently with cardiac problems. Please keep him in your prayers for a successful surgery and peace of mind, and that he and his family might come to know the Lord through this difficult time. Thanks, and God bless you all!

Father, asking that this dad will feel you right there with him while he is going through this surgery and recovery. That the doctors will be able to fix the problem and that he will have no problems. We ask for Your healing Lord. Be with him and his family, and comfort them. Thank You Father. In Jesus name. Amen

I am praying for your friends father...Lord be with this persons father, that you be there when the surgeon perform the surgery, give them steady hands and make this surgery a peice of
cake. Give this family peace, love and strength through this surgery, heal this mans heart..

Thanks everyone. The surgery ended up being cancelled for today. Hopefully he will be able to have it tomorrow morning. Who knows, that may turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Please keep praying.

This morning he was transferred to the ICU with respiratory problems. :( They are looking at Monday or Tuesday for the surgery, if he's stable enough.

Please Lord stand with this family during this difficult time, hold the hand of the father having surgery so that he might know that you are near him. Please bless this family.

Lord, you know how, I worry about my dad and I know this family is worried about theirs, so I ask in Jesus name for peace, and healing to come. I ask you to guide the hand of the doctors, send a special person to encourage and comfort the dad and family, please hear our prayers.

Thank you for your prayers. He is out of the ICU now, but the doctors want to run more tests because of additional problems. I don't want to be too specific because of privacy concerns. The surgery might be on Thursday of this week if everything turns out okay. My friend is really beside herself with worrying about her dad, so please especially pray for peace of mind for her (and the rest of the family). Thank you all!

The surgery got pushed back once again, but now he is supposed to have it this morning at 11:00. Please pray for him to actually be able to have the surgery today (if it's in God's plan), and for everything to go very well so that he can be on the road to recovery. Please also continue to pray for his poor stressed out family to have some peace. Thank you all and God bless!
