I am considering a gift for a family member who lives in Boston. It is a trolley tour that takes you to Copp's Hill Burying Ground and Granary Burying Ground. It's also a walking tour where the guide points out the graves of John Hancock, Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, among others. It is supposed to be very historical.

Another option is a scenic dinner train ride through Narragansett Bay.

Have any of you heard of or been to these places and what do you think? Any and all comments are welcome.

I haven't been to those, but Narragansett Bay is nice even though I haven't been there since the very early 80's. Who is the trolley tour through?

Thanks for your reply. The tours are from a company online and I'm not sure if I am allowed to post their site. Their name is xperience and they have tours all over the U.S. Some are expensive, the two I mentioned are more affordable.

I have never heard of them at all.

Copp's Hill Burying Ground and Granary Burying Ground is in Downtown Boston, which isn't bad at all.

OK, I think I may buy the tour as a gift. I don't know the area at all but am assuming downtown isn't that far from my sister. She is very difficult to buy for and I wanted something very different for a "biggie" birthday.
Thanks again.

Hopefully I can ask one more question from someone who knows Boston. What do you know about Duck Tours? It looks like this is what I am going to get for the gift but am still curious.

While I have never done them here, Boston Duck Tours are just the best! Now make sure that you do the real thing and not the Super Duck tour excursions that came around last year. There was even a law suit over the name on that.

You have to make sure that it is the Boston Duck Tours that you are doing.

Humble, thanks a ton, I went to the site you provided. I almost booked the wrong one thinking it was better. I will buy the tickets today and thanks again.
