I just want to ask a question: Is there a such things as hearing voices in the spirit.?Lately, in the morning hours as I lie in bed I can hear music and sometimes even voices. Sometimes it sounds like alot of voices cheering as if they were at a ball game. I have to check sometimes to make sure my radio or tv isn't playing. I know this may sound strange.
Any insight?

I think there are a lot of ways that God connects with us and your experience is one of them. I can't guess what the meaning is, but perhaps there is something special about that in your life now, in the past, or maybe in the yet to be revealed future.
Beware, however, Satan is sneaky. He can and will use many ploys to lure the unsuspecting soul. My advice: bless the voices and welcome them if they come ONLY in the name of Jesus Christ.

braces or fillings on teeth have been known to pick up radio waves and sound can travel a long ways sometimes.

I don't have any braces or metal fillings in my teeth. I have even got up and put a cup to the wall to make sure I wasn't hearing things. And as soon as I lay down and get relaxed I can hear the music.

I have heard someone call my name, and it was none of those people around me.
Other times He has put a song in my mind that I've not heard or thought of in years.

Psalm 100:
Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me." (John 10:27). The Bible makes it abundantly clear that - because we serving a living God, and He is a God who speaks - that ALL of His sheep (not just the shepherds!) can learn to hear and recognize God speaking. He speaks to us in many different ways, according to the Scriptures:
(a) The written Word. Psalm 119:105. Primary way He speaks to us.
(b) The still small voice.
(c) Circumstances (open & closed doors, provision, etc.)
(d) Human messengers (prophets or gift of prophecy)
(e) The audible voice (very infrequent!)
(f) Dreams & Visions
(g) Angels & Heavenly Encounters
Those are just a few of them, but we must remember that God is God, and He can speak any way He chooses! So, if you feel it might be the Lord, respond the way the young boy Samuel did in First Samuel chapter three and say, "Speak Lord, your servant is listening!"

Thanks for all your replies. I know I must be careful because the enemy is very tricky. I just don't want to limit God and put Him in my own little box. As one poster stated God can speak any way He so chooses, and we mere humans can't tell Him the best method in which to do so!!!
The funny thing is that I don't know what all this means. It seems so meaningless sometimes. I sometimes hesitate to tell people about some of these experiences for fear I'll sound like an idiot.

Ok I had to post this for you. Ironically enohg I just started reading a book called Without Spot or Wrinkle.
Well on p 20 the author says:
If we are the final generation before Christ' return then we must attune our ears to the roar of the grandstands in heaven because all those who have gone before us are cheering us on to a final victory!
