Welcome to Writer's Roundtable!
There are two types of stories that are acceptable to post in this area:
1) Original stories to which no copyright is held by any other person or entity, OR
2) Short excerpts only of copyrighted stories, with a link to the rest.
There are a lot of good stories that have no links for whatever reasons (many older stories are not anywhere on the 'net), but we must respect copyright laws. As such, we can only allow a copyrighted story to be posted IF here is a link to a place on the internet where it's been posted legally with permission of the copyright holder.
Posting entire articles is prohibited, per our Terms of Service, which state:

8. You should always view chat and forums as a public meeting place. To the extent possible, all chat and forums conversations are the property of Salem Web Network. By participating you have granted Salem Web Network the license to use them for any purpose whatsoever. For this reason you may not post any material for which you do not own the copyright.
