I hate when philosophy and science mix when tackling seemingly intractable problems.

Status: offline 		How are science and philosophy "colliding" here any more than in any other exposition of panpsychism? Aside from that, it's a rather hyperbolic description of the philosophy itself. Either panpsychism or emergentism follow from neutral monism, which is a widely accepted theory. What are your objections to it?
