Hello everyone. My husband, and I are struggling financially right now. And I know, and believe that God will provide for us. I just need encouragement, and scripture that will help me realize that God is still in control, and there is no need for us to worry about that God is control.

Thank you, and God bless.

Here is Psalm 9. It's about battling enemies -- I figure one's own worries can be enemies.

Here's another group of verses: Psalm 28:6-8

And Psalm 37

You can do all sorts of searches at BibleGateway.com, in lots of different Bible versions.

Hi Veronicahails!

It can be extremely difficult at times to place all our trust in God when we're going through hard trials. I know during tribulations my heart gets heavy and worrisome. But God does tell us in His Word that we're not to worry and to cast all our cares upon Him.

Here are just a few comforting scriptures to ponder upon:

*Matthew 6:31-33 - Therefore do no worry, saying "What will we eat? or What will we wear?" For it is the Gentiles who strive for all these things; and indeed your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But strive first for the kingfom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

*Luke 12:22-24 - Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, or what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing. Consider the ravens: they neither sow or reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Oh how much more value are you than the birds.

*Matthew 6:34 - So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own. Today's trouble is enough for today.

*Luke 12:25 - And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to the span of life?

*John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.

Hebrews 10:19-'Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; 21 And having an high priest over the house of God; 22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

James 4:8-'Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.'

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Hon, you've already been given great help here and since you're relying on and trusting Jesus, you already have the BEST HELP there is. But the verse that came to mind for me to offer to you for your comfort is from Paul's letter to the believers at Philippi. These are his words to them and to you. Believe, Liveloved

And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
