I have an old monitor (big screen) with its keyboard (bilingual), mouse and manual which I want to sell off. All are in Excellent Condition and I am selling it at really affordable price $ 50.00. My friend thinks that I should keep it and that someday I might use it.
Should I sell my old monitor OR keep it as my friend suggests?

That is Exactly what my friend is suggesting! So you think my friend is right? Well I do have space, but it's always nice to make some money esp. if the material sold is in excellent condition and also it's a big neat cute screen which is very rare nowadays with all those LCD's and laptops.

When I need a new cheap monitor I go to salvation army and buy 2 or 3 at once for about $10. One of them usually works fine.

A very sound idea. I was going to buy cheap VCRs from local thrift shops until one worked, but the first one I bought (15 bucks) has done the job quite nicely.
Only problem with applying that to my future monitor purchases is that I want an LCD. I have yet to see any of those available, although maybe its b/c I don't patronize upper-level thrift shops.
