As expensive as stainless steel appliances can be, they sure aren't easy to keep clean! Any suggestions on cleaning the surfaces in a way that prevents so many of the fingerprints and smudges from showing?

All of my appliances are Stainless Steel. I have an open floor plan so the kitchen is visible from the entrance and from the Great Room...therefore, I Windex them every day without fail...sometimes more than once a day.
I don't like the cream stainless steel cleaners. They leave a greasy residue. Windex works much better imo.
There is nothing that I know of that prevents fingerprints and smudges from showing on stainless. It's just the price you pay for beauty!

the finger prints is why we are thinking of getting stainless looking stuff, but not real stainless. (Although after thinking about it, we may get black because of scratching)
