Swine Flu Conspiracy - 4/28/2009 3:23:08 PM

Now that we have the Swine Flu going around, it will be interesting to watch conspiracy theories evolve over time whether they be true or not.
I predict two types of conspiracies:
1) That the flu is present, and was created by some government (most likely the US) or Illuminati and
2) That the flu is present but not as dangerous as predicted and this is all hype, but for opportunistic purposes.
The goal of BOTH points is for more control, perhaps martial law.
I remember as a teenager in 1976 this swine flu going around and those inoculated (including my mother) became ill from it and many people died or were paralyzed. This set a great distrust in me for government and the medical establishments (but not a distrust in a Constitutional government which I believe few practice today). In addition, the "remedy" shots were far greater ill effects than the disease itself.
I would side with the 2nd possibility more and would not surprise me that mass, mandatory inoculations would be enacted. The purpose of those inoculations, as conspiracy theorist agree upon, is that more drugs make us a little more compliant, a little dumber, and a little more complacent.
Already the populace believes they need high cholesterol drugs, high BP drugs, drugs for depression, etc, none which are life-threatening. So most people would "just agree" and do as they are told.

Don't they have a bunch of the Avion flue vaccine ready to go? All they have to do is say this is the Swine (having wings) Flu, and hope the vaccine works. (Bad joke). You may well be right about the two options.

This is what “they are not” telling anyone...
The reason why the Asians contracted the bird flu strain in the first place was because of the amounts of a dangerous substance being dumped in the water supplies, which in turn lowered their resistance to the flu.

I used to wrestle hogs. I should be immune, or really really dumb. Maybe that is why I didn't have many friends when I was young,,,,,,,,,,,,,Hmmmmm..........I bathed once a week, need it or not..........

Well, I dunno about you, but I hear strokes, heart attacks and suicide can be fatal. That said, the reseach connecting high cholesterol and heart disease is not overwhelmingly strong, esp. given the side effects of the meds. What is missing is that people have decided that all they need to do is take these medicines for these problems. Most do not make lifestyle changes and do other things as well. Most people seem to think these medicines make them bullet-proof.
Everybody taking these meds should also be exercising and eating reasonably. People on antidepressants should be in counseling as well.

You are correct, there is no statistical link between high cholesterol and heart disease, and people are yet inclined to believe what they are told and "want to take a pill" for that as well. There is indeed also a cholesterol conspiracy --- bottom line in that is huge money-making.

If I had to pick one I think might be more plausible, it might have been the 2nd one...as in "never let a crisis go to waste". That might explain in part how the House was able to fast-track HHS nominee Kathleen Sebelius despite the firestorm of recent weeks over her appointment.

Knowing how rebellious the Conservatives are to what is happening, we (ahem) suddenly have a 'Swine' Flue Pandemic (or is it Pandemonic). The liberals get an additional 1.5B$ to play with, all the old vaccines are sold (make a buck on day old bread scenario), new vaccines are ordered (new jobs generated), and then the real biggy: In protest, the Conservatives refuse to take the vaccine, thinking the whole problem is a ruse, and many Conservatives die off, reducing the opposition, and making room for more illegals to have a nice home.??
Now, I can sink my teeth into a story-line like that. Eat your heart out Sci-Fi, ..........Oh, I have to quit,........my sides hurt.......laughing at my own stupidity. Sadly, what is said above may be half true, and more sadly, people, many people, could die from this; and I sit here, shaming myself by making fun of what I see as possible Prophecy in action.

Well, then someone get me the Illuminati's phone number b/c I got a flu bug!!! IF this is Swine flu, then someone's going to pay!!  I have chills, I'm grumpy, achey, tummy ache, had a sore throat yesterday and am having to take my vacation days to stay at home b/c everyone is screaming Oh dear God, it's the swine flu. Someone's going to pay!!!!!

Doesn't sound like swine flu to me, but I feel for you and hope you are better soon. What you said is the whole point of my starting this thread.... the government and media raises awareness to the point of panic and then people like you and me have to suffer from their idiocy. It in effect becomes just like conspiracy. One of these days, somewhere over the rainbow, the masses will start to think for themselves and not squat when someone tells them they need relief. Well, I can dream can't I?

Well, actually they are the symtoms of the swine flu, I just don't have a fever. (I looked it up a few days ago.) But I'm not going to pay $150 to a doctor only to be told you have the flu, go home. GRRRR!!!!! So I'll just eat my soup, take my asprins and lay on the couch.
By the way, you got that number for me yet? :)

I spoke with my Illuminati handlers and they were very apologetic. Someone else was targeted and you got to the toilet seat first. However, they are gracious enough to offer you free medical care at a nearby Trilateral Commission Hospital (you won't find it listed in the Yellow Pages, BTW). A black, unmarked ambulance will be outside waiting within two hours. You will be flown directly to the facility by Bildeberger Air Ambulance and Rendition Service. Don't bother packing a bag. Everything you need will be provided. Since this service is being provided free-of-charge, please don't mention it to anyone.

You misunderstood my statement about Sebelius. There seemed to be a potentially fierce battle lot of screaming over her nomination prior to the swine flu incidents coming to light because of some accusations of taking money from Kansas abortionists George Tiller.

Swine flu alert clears old stock of Tamiflu
Interesting how this just so happened to be in the best interest of pharmaceutical corporations.
You know what's more interesting, before the Swine flu this year was a low flu season year and fewer people got flu shots than usual. The pharmaceutical corporations lost profits as a result. Now that the swine flu is around they are making money (ie: their stocks have shot up).
Not saying there is a conspiracy (I doubt it), just saying that these are interesting coincidences.
