Let's trade with them! :D Make sure we make as much money from them as we can before we have to do something really really forceful with them over their nuke program:

quote:

WASHINGTON — U.S. exports to Iran — including brassieres, bull semen, cosmetics and possibly even weapons — grew more than tenfold during President George W. Bush's years in office even as he accused Iran of nuclear ambitions and helping terrorists. America sent more cigarettes to Iran, at least $158 million worth under Bush, than any other products.

Other surprising shipments to Iran during the Bush administration: fur clothing, sculptures, perfume and musical instruments. Top states shipping goods to Iran include California, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio and Wisconsin, according to an analysis by The Associated Press of seven years of U.S. government trade data.

Yet after reading that they still insist on the neccessity of the Cuban trade embargo which needs to be done away with so Rush and the rest of us can legally enjoy a stogie from the best place on earth. ; )

Interesting commodities we are trading with them. I don't even want to know what bull semen is used for!

Cosmetics? Does their Mary Kay consultant wear pink hajibs? Sculptures? Only of amorphous shapes right? No people or animals.

But seriously, this is just more double talk (or action) from this President! Axis of evil my ........! He's been more diplomatic with this so-called 'axis of evil'!

Farmers use it to impregnate cows.

I've always said the best way to win the War on Terror is through good old fashioned Western decadence.
