War Breaks out in Middle East

UPI/Dateline Cairo – The fears of many have come to pass as escalating tension has sparked war in the Middle East. Israeli forces massed at the Red Sea are preparing for an imminent first strike by the Egyptian army. As of this date talks have broken down between the Israeli and Egyptian Governments over an exodus taking place at the Sinai Peninsula.

Israeli General Moishe Ben Amram and his brother Aaron have failed to receive expected concessions from the Egyptian government. Spokesmen for the Egyptian Government have declared the Israelis a virtual plague on Egypt, although government sources refused to cite any particulars as of press time.

The evidence of Egyptian military build-up at the Red Sea is a moot witness to the unrest turned rebellion by the Hebrews from the ghettos of Goshen. Discouragement turned to desperation has led to their exodus from forced labor camps and brick mills. Hope has reached a peak in Hebrew hearts since the return of Moishe from exile, prophesied since before the genocidal reign of former Monarch Amenhotep I.

Moishe, once thought of as a contender for the throne, is now considered an enemy of the state since his return. He has fallen out of grace with the current administration and is now officially branded a terrorist and an unstable force in the region.

Anti-Semitic sentiments have run high here in capitol city, since Egyptians included forced labor in their building industry many years ago. Violence in the old city of Goshen has become common place since the return of Moishe from exile in Sinai. Has their Messiah come to save them or bring a bloodbath? This reporter doesn’t think deliverance is nigh.

I, Dathan, and my coworkers Korah and Abiram have worked hard for Mid-East peace and were almost taken in by the smooth talking rhetoric of this Promised One at first, but now I personally believe he is a deluded megalomaniac.

Labor slowdowns and a virtual plague of every sort have brought about a crisis of faith within the ranks of the average Egyptian family and brought to a breaking point the nerves of people on both sides of the line.

The demands of Moishe and Aaron on part of the Jews have incensed the Egyptian government to the point of war. Although privately many Egyptians believe mystical signs in the region are retribution from the Hebrew God against the cruel bondage inflicted by Pharaoh; the state’s official stance is that the strange events accompanying the unrest are nothing but natural phenomena.

Scientists Jannes and Jambres of the Egyptian Museum of Natural History have dismissed the mystical occurrences as mass hysteria caused by the antics of Moishe and Aaron; though they are at a loss at this time to explain the plague that has killed so many Egyptian children of late. Fearing further outbreaks of this strange flu-like virus, as of this date, the Egyptians have refused further asylum to anyone of Israeli birth or any Pro-Jewish sympathizers.

Egyptian military strategists are speaking doom and gloom for the meager Hebrew fighting force backed up to the Red Sea. Dr. Abdul Magog, from the University of Cairo is calling for a massacre, saying “Opposing forces massing from the mainland are quickly closing in on the ragtag refugees fleeing from the safety of their former homes.”

Dr. Magog has confidently released this statement, “They are now backed up at Pi Hahiroth, near Migdol. With Pharaoh on one side and the Red Sea behind them, they are caught between a rock and a wet place. By this time tomorrow, there will be no more Hebrews left for their God to save.”

All eyes are on Moishe as he surveys his prospects, while the Egyptian forces advance on the departing Israelis. This could be a very volatile situation, as both sides brace for conflict.

These headlines were flashed in Egypt by Papyrus Boys 3500 years ago and achieved record sales that day.
