There has been a lively debate going on in the singles folder about whether or not it is a best to be friends before you ask a girl out or if being friends means you will never date. I thought it would be helpful to do a poll of those who are or have been married and see where the lines fall.
Note: I hope to leave the debate where it is, in the singles folder.
So were you or were you not friends before you asked her out?

We worked in the same facility. She was a supervisor on one shift and I was one on another. We ended up working together during Christmas holiday. Went on a date over New Years. Started dating regularly. Ended up getting married 26 years ago.
1) One doesn't necessarily have to be friends before marriage... Rachel was not "friends" with Jacob when she met him. He just married her on the spot!
2)If a girl wants friends to talk with, That's what GIRL FRIENDS are for!!!!!

No. I saw her, I wanted her, I made myself "convenient" for a few weeks and asked for a date. I was good, I could sell ice to an Eskimo... or so I thought.
