Gosford Park I tried to watch it a few times, and it literally put me to sleep - day, night, anytime, instant snoozer.

ORIGINAL: iluvatar 2001: A Space Odyssey -Dan. Yes!!! For its time it was probably a great breakthrough - but now - because so many other filmmakers have used those techniques and we've seen them time and again - the novelty has worn off. So it just seems very quiet, long, and boring. I always fall asleep during it.

Driving Miss Daisy. Fell asleep when a date took me to see it. Fell asleep years later when I tried to watch it at home. Still haven't seen it.

I don't know whether it speaks to the quality, or lack there of of the movies, or that I just don't get enough sleep. Now I have never fallen asleep in the theater, so this is what happened when I rented: Dude where's my car? I was out cold 5 minutes in on my friends livingroom floor. Unbreakable, I and the I was dating at the time were out cold before the opening credits were over. The Big Lebowski. I fell asleep watching this the first time, but I gave it another chance I think the movie is great, so this one is definitely due to lack of sleep.

Patriot Games. Saw it in the theater and fell asleep, rented it with hubby and fell asleep. Dr. Zhavago (so totally wrong spelling but I hope you know what I am talking about).

I fell asleep at the theater watching Lord of the Rings. It didn't start until 8:30 p.m., and it is a verrrrry long movie. What was I supposed to do? Well, my date didn't quite understand and, needless to say, that was our first and only date.
