Sometimes I am convinced that I am the biggest stumbler of all. I just can't seem to get it together in a consistent fashion. I will do well for a short while and then I start to wander away. I can't seem to get away from besetting sin and then that sets the whole cycle of drifting away again. I try to pray and adhere but I can't because those sins that trip me up, and ruin my walk, but I can't stop those sins either. What have others done in my situation? If I pray, study, repent, attend church, read and study the Bible will I grow, I do all the preceding just not very consistently. I know I am a Christian, just a sad one right now.

How much time are you spending in the word of God? Make it a daily practice. Pray as often as you can. 2 Timothy 3 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: James 1 5If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Everyone stumbles. Keep getting back up!

Sometimes I am convinced that I am the biggest stumbler of all. You're in good company. The Apostle Paul called himself the chief of sinners. That's quite a title. Actually you are WAY AHEAD of most if you see yourself as the biggest stumbler. Most don't see themselves rightly at all. Jesus came for the sick not for the healthy so if you see yourself as sick (like I do), and in need of Jesus (yes), then you're exactly where He wants you to be. Just believe that He IS going to accomplish all for you. Bless you!

What are the ingredients for a strong growing Christian walk... 1. Love not your life unto death (Rev 12:11, John 12:;25) 2. Hunger and thirst after righteousness (Matt 5:6) 3. Do not be friends with the world (1 John 2:15, James 4:4) 4. Turn from the flesh to the Spirit (Gal 5:16) 5. Seek the Lord first (Matt 6:33) 6. Rely on the Lord (Prov 3:5-6) 7. Cry out for wisdom (Prov 2:1-11, James 1:5)

The Bible says we can even pray for faith. Thus, I would suggest praying for help from God. We are weak, but He is strong.
