Greetings fair LBolt!
I believe that the building of The Temple of God at Jerusalem does not necessarily signify the coming of the son of perdition known as the antichrist in the near future. (As it is written regarding the evil frog spirits that come from the mouth of the beast and the dragon and the false prophet during the last battle at Armageddon) The Temple must be present at that time, though, in fulfillment of what was written. It could stand for a thousand years as written in the prophet regarding how God would raise Israel in One Day; where a day is like a thousand years to God and a thousand years like a day.
One must listen to The Voice of The Lord is such matters, for He almost always sends a prophet to help consecrate the affairs of such a Sanctimonious Occasion as the erection of the former ordinance structure of the Covenant made to Israel by God long ago. It is not for us to determine the times and the seasons which God has set by His Own Authority is The Word to The Apostles at Scripture. The Apostle admonishes us that The Temple will be standing at that time with reference to the Holy of Holies regarding the false worldly prophet leader who arises to rule the earth after the fullness of those who would die for the faith is fulfilled as written in the fifth seal of revelation given to John the Holy Apostle of God.
The instructions for the building of the Temple are written in the prophet Ezekiel for this fulfillment to happen.
As to Novus Orden Seclorum, it is not necessarily the leaders of the free world that will have the ranks from which the ten worldwide rulers who are written will come from, among which the false wordly prophet subdues 3 of them to make 8 rulers at the last. For he is not necessarily not in agreement with the separation between religion and statehood as has traditionally been the outward form of Nations from before. It is written that the beast from the earth jumps up from the pit to kill the two witnesses who are The Blessed Olive Trees that stand before The Lord of Heaven who were sent to issue Judgment Ordinances upon the followers of the spiritual fallen city called Babylon The Great. The false worldly prophet called antichrist or the beast from the earth is a spiritual being that fell with Lucifer from heaven and he has once been on earth (tower of Babel), now is not, yet will come. All Authority in Heaven and on earth is given to The Anointed One of God, even The Messiah called The High Priest Melchezidek even Jesus the Christ our Lord and Savior; The Most Merciful. The Al-Mahdi. Yeshua.
One must wonder, then, at the Greatness of God as we notice a certain leader appearing in the US to become President for the next four years who has certain policies to implement at that time.
Personally, I am greatful for the direction that the Parliament of Israel has headed regarding the expansion of Jerusalem settlements and The Holy City forever the Capitol of Israel!

What about the references in Daniel that clearly show that the Beast is a Nation or State like system or some form of governance?
Dan 7: 19-26
19"Then I desired to know the exact meaning of the (AI)fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its claws of bronze, and which devoured, crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet,
20and the meaning of the ten horns that were on its head and the other horn which came up, and before which three of them fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth uttering great boasts and which was larger in appearance than its associates.
21"I kept looking, and that horn was (AJ)waging war with the saints and overpowering them
22until the Ancient of Days came and (AK)judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom.
23"Thus he said: 'The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth, which will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth and tread it down and crush it.
24'As for the (AL)ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will subdue three kings.
25'He will (AM)speak out against the (AN)Most High and (AO)wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make (AP)alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a (AQ)time, times, and half a time.

When it come to prophecy, or to the book of Revelation the hardest thing for people to do is to believe what they are reading. There are are kinds of interperation that leaves a lot of people confused, that is why you need to study the Word of God yourself. make no mistake about the HolySpirit is the Spirit of truth and he will lead you through all the different twists that people claim. It works like this, pick a subject out and search have an open mind so that the Holy Spirit can lead you to the right intereraption. Just like the temple that the Jews will build in the future it will be the place that the Anti Christ will go into and claim himself to be God, According to Matthew 24:15.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,
verse 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped, so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
This is how simple prophecy is simply read and believe like I said ITS NOT THAT CHRISTIANS CAN'T BELIEVE ITS THAT THEY DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE.
