lol. My mom probably would. She's always thought pot-bellied pigs were cute. So a teacup pig would be even cuter.

Considering that they are only "teacup" size for a very short time and then grow to be between 50-80 pounds, I think not.

Besides, pigs are gross....sorry, PETA.

No.. I could deal with a 65 pound dog if I had the room, but not a pig.

Why not just spend $20 on a guinea pig?

...ah no.

Such a creature would not last long in our back yard....either the coyotes or birds of prey would feast on it.

Now here is a real pig:

Yeah, I was thinking about that, too - they may only wind up being as tall as a "small spaniel" (according to the article), but I've never seen a Spaniel weigh in at 65 lb. Some friends just got a mini daschund - that's about the right size for me.

Give me a real pig please. I had a pet pig once, she was the runt of the litter so I kept her in a box in the house and bottle fed her. When she got bigger she went in the yard and followed me around. She grew up to be the best sow that my grandpa ever had. She was fun, her name was Midget! Which was hilarious when she weighed several hundred pounds!

No. I wouldn't buy a pig for a pet. But, if I had the money and the room I wouldn't mind hubby breeding them and making us lots of money.

65 lbs is a normal size for a full grown male English springer spaniel
