Well, my dad dyes my mom's hair, but that's a lot less hazardous. Actually, though, I'd trust my dad to do what you described... he is very meticulous and careful about a task he assigns himself too. dH is too, but he'd hate having to work with hair. Edited because I've had a really off day, and I my grammar has gone on vacation.

I would trust my hubby to do that. It sounds like your hubby's line of work is very detail oriented, so I bet he will do a good job. I imagine it doesn't take much skill, just being careful and able to follow instructions should be good enough.

My husband would probably look at me like I grew a second head if I asked him to do anything like that... buy my brother would totally go for it and probably to a pretty darn good job.

I would probably trust hubby to do it but he would think I had lost my mind if I were to ask.

no =) It's not that I don't trust my hubby... but.... he does NOT enjoy it when I ask him to paint my toenails, and he says he's too clumsy with things like that. Plus, the one time I hurt my arm, he tried (because I was crying over it) to "fix" my hair for me. All it meant was brushing it, and putting some of it in a barrette... and THAT took over a half an hour, and it ended up crooked... so, um, no. =) I love him dearly, but no. =)

ORIGINAL: Ps103 ...put extensions in your hair? With a heat tool? If you taught him how? Just curious I don't think I'd trust anyone in the world to do that. I really hate people touching my hair. And my DH's hands are rather shaky.

lol... no way. I love my husband dearly, but no way would I let him do that. I call my sister up for that sort of thing. lol. Ironically though... I have pleaded with my husband to let me get a home hair cut kit and do his hair cuts to save some money. (For what it's worth, I'm not a hair stylist but I am an artist in my spare time so I'm pretty good with detail). He said now way!! lol. He doesn't trust me to cut his hair. He asked me if I'd trust him to cut mine... I said no of course. So it looks like we'll be leaving that to the hair stylists. lol.

ORIGINAL: _Cinderella_ starvin.artist.gurl ~ my husband is the opposite of yours. He has never once been to a licensed hair cutting person. Every haircut he has ever had has been done by his mom or by me. I cut my hubby's hair, and have for the past few years. It isn't that difficult, and the clipper we bought came with an instructional DVD. Dh's hair grows SO fast that it was a pain to go to the barber shop often enough.
