I believe this story has been making the rounds for a few days. No feathers ruffled so far that I can see, but perhaps a few chuckles elicited here and there given the types of prayer being solicited by the LC.
Do conservatives get ruffled when the Mormons try to pray their deceased loved ones into Mormon heaven?

Compare a christian at a tea party ( ya know not all people at tea parties are christian ) and a liberal at some liberal function and I bet you would see a great difference in charactor and behavior....much in favor of the conservative christian.
Eight years of unabashed hatred for Bush, who was, at best a moderate, will always paint the left as the hatemongering group they proved themselves to be.
While the rhetoric is escalating and some of it is over the top, to compare what the right is doing to what the left did to Bush....and Palin....is hyporcracy.

I'll bet it does, because it's delivered with an air of pompous self-righteousness based on the bogus notion that liberals are less Christian than conservatives. It focuses mainly upon the standard right-wing talking points (abortion & gay marriage) including those that have no doctrinal support whatsoever (taxes, gun control, public health care), giving the impression that all good Christians are conservative Republicans.
As far as spreading gossip & false witness, parts of the paragraphs about Obama & Napolitano are misleading at best (I'd categorize the description of DHS' right-wing extremist report as an outright lie). While I haven't checked it out yet, the description of John Holdren smells fishy to me, too.

The web site says the "Liberty Counsel." I see that they have an office at Liberty U, but are they arms of the same organization or are they just loosely affiliated with each other?

All I know is if Janet would kick those worthless peons in the DHS in the bum and get them in gear we wouldn't have to listen to this stuff anymore since all of the conservatives would be in Gitmo getting waterboarded.
I mean, I really wanted to say "Dubya, you did a great job with the DHS, making it the single largest government agency since the Department of Defense and what a great job you did!" But if they can't simply go to the tea parties and arrest the millions of Republicans and right wingers en masse, what exactly is it useful for? 
Great example of Christian Love right there.

Agreed.
I emailed the group and asked that they revise it....
"Secretary Napolitano has refused to retract her Department's report that warned against so-called "right-wing extremists," with such groups being defined as people who believe in traditional American values like the right to bear arms and the sanctity of life, and even including veterans who hold such views .
...that's a dishonest representation of the DHS document.

The angry emoticon gave me the impression that you really are that upset with the Conservative movement in the US. One of the joys of this form of communication is that it is hard to read what people are saying if they are being sarcastic or absurd. I'm sorry I misread what you were trying to say.
