how about the tickle in the back of the throat...trying to wrap a throat lozenge to make it go away and suddenly the noise of unwrapping paper is almost as loud as the cough would have been.

How about having to sing in a choir and all of sudden have to cough all the time? Very embarrassing, isn't it!
