Friday, my mother went to the Dr for a check up..... her pulmanary fibrosis has disappeared, and there is no need to have a biopsy.... the biopsy appointment was cancelled.
the Dr told mom (with a sheepish grin) that it was definately a miracle.

Glory to GOD!!!!!

I know of 2 miracles without a shadow of doubt that they are from God.
the first one is me! I contracted spinal menegitis when I was a child and am allergic to pcn and sulfur. The doctors gave me a 5% chance to live and told my parents to get things in order, because if I survived I would be severely handicapped. Well I survived and without any limitations.

The second one is I was told when I was 18 y/o that I could never have children. In 1996 I had to have surgery on my ovaries, so believed this was a sign that the doctors were right. Again today I am the proud momma of a 2 y/o son. BTW: I am 47 y/o

*with God *All things are Possible... Praise Him

There have been a few fascinating threads about minor, and major miracles on this forum. I went through a long period of life without any notable miracles, and then, a long period of frequent miracles. Some saints get a few, some seemingly none, and others jaw dropping ones often.

It is one greatest mysteries of the faith to me, why, when, and who receives them.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: Now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

If things were different, I'd probably consider my best friend to be a miracle. I really met her quite randomly and she literally saved my life.

The one I always think of is:

I had got on my knees and prayed to get this job down the street from house, it was a nursing home, that's what I had been doing for abt. 10 yrs. While attending college. Mind you there was some issues due to nursing homes starting at 6 AM. I had 2 daughters that attended elementary school at the time.

I'll never forget it, I asked the Lord for help in this situation, I needed a job. I asked for me and those 2 girls. On my knees, I had'nt prayed in a long time!

The next AM, I missed the alarm to be at interview at nursing home, felt so depressed.

My daughter came in , showed me a suspension slip, her school 2 blocks away wanted me to come and meet that am in an hour or so.
We got dressed , walked to school.

I met with the Principal, and she offered me a job, same times as my children, more pay, own office, right then and there!

God is faithful, even when we are not!

He answered my prayer!

I can tesitfy, He does still and always will work miracles for us.

((((((( Praise God )))))). This is a testimony of God's ways being better than our ways and His thoughts far higher than ours. Truly your cup runs over tracydolls.

Yes salvation.

I had an incurable lung disease. It made me very sick a few times a year. Doctor visits and tests cost a bunch of money we did not have. No insurance.

I prayed to God He would take the financial burden from my family. Kinda figured He would provide us with insurance.

I have not been sick since. Not with that. My lungs do not use oxygen well but I haven't been sick like that in 10 years.

Yep, had pneumonia a few months ago but that was self inflicted....started smoking again for a time.

However, I was going to have an operation. The doctor knew of my lung disease even though I said it was essentaially gone. He took x-rays of my lungs.

Now, my lung doctor showed me x-rays of my lungs before. I could see the scarring on my lungs and I'm no expert ( stone dust and moldy hay was the cause )

My throat doctor ( had pollups on my vocal chords hence the need for the operation ) said there was no evidence that my lungs were damaged.

I know my lungs are not the best. I get tired easily and don't burn calories well. When I excersize, eventually I'll get a cold.

Like I siad, I don't get sick like I used to. Asmetic ( sp ) bronchitis. Sick for weeks...just in time to get sick again.

That...is gone.

Is that a miricle? I think so.

CRH737 and tracydolls, Glory to God for both of you, and for the miracles He performed for you. God is not limited by our age or by others who we cross paths with in our lives. Please agree with me in prayer, for I have been out of work for two months, have $0, and lots of bills that are due a month ago. I am just praying for a job. I can handle doing without, but the utility companie, landlord and bill collectors won't. I know God is more than capable.... Travis

I've had a small miracle ... I'm fifteen and when I was ten the doctors stated that my primary front teeth ( gap ) was never going to grow and I was going to be this way all my life ... it was near my nose or a little higher ... when I was thirteen I prayed and went to a Christian conference and aftewards it started to grow ... anyways the greatest miracle is not physical but spiritual ... the gift of salvation and forgiveness is at the heart ... Jesus Christ ... he is the testimony ... no other miracle is greater

Yes, several.

Some meantioned below in order of received.

I was saved at 3 & have never turned back.

We found a nice large house on large corner lot, in nice neighborhood, & with enough rooms for all 7 of us, for rent for less than $700.

I am not a vegetable
(Doctor basically said other people who've gone through what I have are)

No money for a Christmas tree one year & were given 2 & were able to bless another needy family with 1.

A man at church tonight that gave the testimony he is now completely cured from his brain tumor. I remember when he was diagnosed last fall ... and now he is in perfect health!

Another man at church, who was shot in the face several years ago. The bullet entered right under his nose, and ran through his cheekbone, lodging in his temple. He had reconstructive surgery, and today all that is left is the scar from where the bullet entered under his nose.

My daughter *might* be receiving one now. It'll be a few weeks before we know, though.

She lost her hair three years ago after developing a condition called alopecia. Because it happened before puberty, remission is unlikely. Right now she has the most regrowth she has ever had and seems to be getting more every day. This is the first time in three years I've thought God may be healing her. Because it grows and falls out in cycles, it'll be a few more weeks before we know whether it's going to "stick" or not. If it does, it'll be a miracle. Please, everyone, pray for her. She's 13 and has faced a lot of rejection over the years because of this.

I've received a couple miracles, one for me and one for a friend I was praying for. I hope this post doesn't get too long, but I'd really like to tell about them.

The first was the one for a friend. About 9 years ago, I was working as a teacher's aide in a Christian school. One afternoon after school, when all the staff was still there but the kids had gone home, one of the teachers was in the hallway with her four-year-old daughter as the principal was walking by and I happened to be nearby. I don't remember what the little girl was doing, but it was an "aw, how cute" moment. The principal saw it and said, "Aw, I want a little girl!" The teacher laughed and said, "I think it's a little too late for that!" The principal was around 50 years old with three adult sons (though the youngest was a high school senior at that time), and two grandsons. I had and still have great admiration for this lady and it bothered me that the teacher would laugh at the impossibility of her ever enjoying a blessing that she herself had right in front of her. I began praying that day for the principal's middle son and his wife, who had no children at the time, to have a daughter. Within two years, they did. As far as I know, there was nothing physical preventing this from happening, but I still felt like it was a miracle, simply because the specific thing I asked for actually happened.

The second miracle happened last September. No longer working at that school (which doesn't really exist anymore), I had become a SAHM and had been homeschooling my children for several years. My oldest liked it, but my younger two children wanted to return to school. I had found a Christian school I wanted them to attend, but couldn't afford it if I didn't go back to work. When my husband and I realized that we really could do this if I did go back to work, I made plans to do that. After a five month employement roller coaster, and the kids already enrolled and a contract signed to pay tuition, I was still without a job. I had, during that time, done some temp work, but nothing permanent was on the horizon. Finally, I felt led to stop searching and start praying. I planned to spend a day in fasting and prayer, but in the middle of the afternoon, I felt strongly that God had answered my prayer and I didn't have to fast anymore, and to continue to do so would be legalistic. I had never felt that way before while fasting. Somewhere in that time I had had people in my church pray over me one Wednesday night as well. I know it was the same week that my fast was, and I think it was only a day or two before. The night after my fast, I looked at the career website I had been using and found that a company I had worked for before was looking for someone to do the job I had done before. I had not, in this five months, applied there. I had quit my job there once to do homeschooling, gone back, and quit again. I figured they wouldn't hire me back, though I really liked that job and had it in the back of my mind the whole time that it was the one I wanted. They did re-hire me, almost on the spot. When I stopped and asked God to do for me what I could not do for myself, he gave me more than I asked for.

Travis--I'll be praying for you. If He did it for me, He can do it for you.

Cheeky_Monkey--I'll be praying for your daughter as well. I have a 13-year-old, too.
