I wonder how long before they turn this option off. I remember that during the last forums switch we could do all kinds of neat stuff like banners and marquees, and then they clogged up the site and had to be turned off.

I think I like this guy for the Lasagna brothers (Vito and Guido).

Kath, I know it was that way for me the other day, but the post automatically subbing worked for me yesterday.

Bill, I was wondering the same thing about how long. Just have fun while we can huh? To be honest though, I really don't need all the extras that exist. Ease and speed are my main goals. LOL! I wish there was a Forums Tool Bar at the bottom of every page like we had before. I am doing an awful lot of scrolling!

So far I mostly miss the text box at the bottom of the page. But I'm just ignoring the superficial stuff like the stars and score and stuff. I mean, who really cares any way?

I feel the same way about the stars and scoring and stuff. The sad thing about it is that "some" will take it personally or to heart. I just ignore that they're there too.

I'm wondering does everyone else have a huge white space between the Forums Tool box at top and the beginning of the thread? Mine is that way causing a big scrolling to the messages, but I think it's because of the ad at the right. The length of white space is about the height of that ad. *sigh*

I meant that I ignore the stars and scores. Not the people who take it to heart.

I don't have any big white space on my screen. I've been accused of having a big wide space somewhere else, though.

Hmmm, I need to get to feedback then I took a screen shot. I also notice that the upload for in a post is when you click the POST REPLY. It isn't there when you click FAST REPLY.

Heres how the whitespace looks. I am on an iMac screen. You can see the very bottom of the Forums Tool box but you can't even see the beginning of the thread stuff yet.

That's perfect Bill!

I decided not to pay any attention to the scoring...it's a game more than anything I think. I had about 15 at one point but some people did some messing around and knocked me down...lol! I think after awhile people won't bother to take the time to score...it's a novelty right now. I am lucky when I have time to read every post I want to read and reply, let alone score someone! I figure I come here to share with my freinds, not score or rank them. Besides, the second I venture into the parenting and give my ultra conservative views, my score will suffer irrepairable damage!

That's a bummer about work, Kimmy. School has been a battle too lately, so I understand in a way. Fridays are a good thing!

You need a vacation kimmie. Come to think of it, so do I. Oooh, and I'm gonna have one in July. I'm goin' to DC for at least 4 days, maybe longer. Got 2 box seats for the Mets vs. the Nationals! I can't hardly wait!!

A vacation would be nice - not in the near future, though. Although I did take the last two Fridays off as vacation days!

The last few weeks have been extremely stressful at times but now there's light at the end of the tunnel I'm training someone to do my job, and I was told that if I have this person trained by the end of this month that they'll move me to another department - and no more being a team lead!!!!

The training is going well so far...now to be sure I have her up and running next week so I can let her do my job while I sit back and proof

OK - I'm gonna try this. Hope you don't mind me testing here Kimberly.

Hey --- hope that training goes well. That would be wonderful if you got to get out of where you are.

I'm going to San Diego tomorrow (flight leaves at 7 am) for work. I'm installing a couple instruments for a clinic that fell through the cracks. They've been sitting there since January and they've been paying the lease on them the entire time. [image]http://anchoredbygrace.com/gtchat/images/34.gif[/image]

Hey Kimmy, I have a question about your smileys. Will you eventually run into bandwidth problems on your site if so many smilies are linked from it? Or doesn't it matter with your service.

I could have them eventually, but my provider is very generous with bandwidth. If it gets into a danger zone I'll simply disable the pages. Not too difficult to do

Evening, Kimmiedear!

TGIF to ya.......Lord knows I'M happy it's Friday! And I'm happy you're almost out of your job situation......I'm hoping to be elsewhere one of these days. School will be worth the trouble, just to get out of THIS job!

Hello everyone!!

Christine praying for your flight too.

Darcy, I have been trying to catch up to you for a couple of days with comment about the Mac thing. I was pretty skeptical at first, especially about whether or not there would be problems with being able to upload pictures in posts or even the avatar thing. The more I get around here, the happier I am about the being able to succeed at it. My only thing that still bothers me is the huge gap of white space between my Forums tool box and the beginning of the thread. I know they are still working on a lot of things so I will still wait a bit before I go asking about it to see if it just corrects itself along the way.

Kimberly, glad to hear that you are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel with your job situation.
