I'm thankful that God is more patient with me than I am with Him.
I'm also really thankful for my kids today. I mean, I usually am all the time, but today's just one of those days.  What a buncha cutiepies. And I have to honestly acknowledge the credit isn't mine. They're a gift from God that I didn't deserve.
(Ask me again tomorrow, though. With teen-agers, my gratitude is subject to change without notice.)

I have the same thanksgiving as Collie. I finally know, not just with my mind, but it's almost a primitive instinct, that God is with me in this journey even when I feel that He's a million miles away. It's nice to arrive at this place when I don't have to wrestle with the reality of God's presence in my life.

I am thankful God never stops speaking to us........we just sometimes stop listening.........usually because we don't want to hear what we are afraid he will say.....yet when we start to listen again.......what he says is always exactly what we needed to hear.........I am so thankful God speaks.

I'm thankful for how God always finds a way to minister to our hearts just when we need it. As you all know I got to meet with Christina from here tonight. We went to dinner with her music group and a local pastor and his wife. As we were sitting there the pastor and one of the guys from the group were sharing about all the times that God provided for them through financial struggles through the years. And as you all know I've been kind of battling fear of losing my job by the end of the month and wondering how I'm going to make it if I do. And as I sat there listening to these guys share these stories it was like I could hear God whispering to my heart that He's not going to leave me in this and He will provide as he ALWAYS has.
