Much to be thankful for today. Over 600 breakfasts served during homeless street ministry this morning and 20 people celebrated their "Independence Day" from the penalty of their sin by entrusting their souls to our sovereign Lord!

...God's provision. I am certain everything coming together so well is his doing. I feel very touched that not only is God apt at providing but he also knows me so well. All the furniture needs I have are being met by things so completely me that I am reassured that God knows and more, that he CARES about the little things that bring me joy.
...being challenged. I feel so stretched in my faith and while it has meant an ocean of tears in this season, it also means God is proving faithful in continuing the good work he's begun in me.
...these last few days at the station - they are going to be sooo busy but sooo very productive too!

We caught 58 bluegill Thurday. Had fun at the amusement/water park Friday (www.holidayworld.com) and the cat had kittens Sunday (at least 4)
all in all a good weekend. If it hadn't have rained on Saturday we would have had a perfect weekend

...rest, naps, pizza, running with my puppy, finally getting my place cleaned, God's words, friends, my daughter's goofiness, this rainy weekend, smell of fresh, clean laundry, etc.

For such a funny picture in the newspaper of a squirrel who just had to be in someone's holiday pic. This couple put the timer on to take a pic by a lake in Canada and suddenly a squirrel popped up to be in the pic as well. Just so funny and gave me the smile I needed today.
