Hi everybody. How are you all doing?
Well, I can tell that it's November. We're due to get our Castle and Chrisco hampers tomorrow. Our freezers are pretty empty right now, but they won't be by the time the hampers arrive. It will be several box loads.
We always buy extra. Our household loves getting the Chrisco and Castle hampers. There are things that we buy for ourselves, but we always get extra groceries so that they can be taken down to the church to make up Christmas hampers. We've got some school chaplains in our church, so they take hampers to families that need it, and some of the hampers go to families within our fellowship who need a helping hand too. We had to laugh when somebody brought us a hamper last year! With all the stuff we had, the cupboards were bulging and we were having to store some of the frozen goods in other people's freezers! Needless to say, we didn't keep the food that was given to us.

I thought about this thread tonight when I saw something here in town. I *really* wish I had carried my camera in the van with me. I saw a train car today with graffiti on it. No biggie, right? Well, the graffiti on our Canadian National railcar was ........
A silverfern and the message "Go All Blacks!"
Whaddya think of that?!?!?!?

Sorry Kara. I really don't like graffiti in any form, but it just struck my funny bone. Those bad Kiwis!
I wonder if any Canadians ever go and tag a red maple leaf on a New Zealand railcar encouraging the Canadians.

You betcha!!! Although it will be when my kids are older, or else I will hear non-stop "But we wanna see the Wiggles!!!!" I won't even pay the price to see them when they are here ($50 per person, no matter the age)

Hey, I'm doing OK I guess. In desperate need of holidays. 7.5 more working days to go.
I'm going with my parents & brothers to my aunty's for Christmas Eve/Christmas Day up in Waikerie. Then on the 27th I'm hosting a Christmas Cocktails party at my place for my friends which should be fun.
I'm undecided about New Years though.
Have you got much planned?

Hello everyone,
I haven't been on this (or any other) forum since maybe January or February. New computer, new isp, lost passwords, you name it - it probably happened believe me. The only constant in this not-so-merry-go-round is Jesus.
My typing hasn't improved either - spend most of my time in proof reading and correction.
Anyhow, good to see you again Trish and Kylie and hello to all others.
