Good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!

How is everyone doing on this fine Wed?
I'm doing good....it seems like I've been busy since coming back off of vacation last month and not to mention other things that have been going on.
I told Trish what was going on with me, so I'll fill you all in on what happened.
Back in mid Sep, my adopted mom passed away and I took it very hard.  She was 92, so she lived a long, wonderful life. I went home for a few days to take care of her arrangements. The good thing is that she died peacefully and she's no longer suffering. Writing this now brings tears to my eyes.
Anyhow, my main concern was how I would pay for the funeral, but God made a way...she had set up a pre-burial prior and I didn't know anything about it. Once that was settled, my next concern was her burial. My adopted dad was an Army veteran and because of that, she was entitled to be buried at our local National Cemetery. The end result...I didn't have to pay a dime.
The gov't paid for my trip home and my coworkers helped me on the taxi fare to and from the airport. Despite the sadness, Daddy God came through.
The timing of that though was somewhat crazy because the week before her death, I just paid for a ticket to go home in Oct and it was nonrefundable. I was still able to use that ticket because my trip was scheduled for Oct, so it all worked out.
The second time I went home, it was for a vacation and mainly to go through her boxes from the nursing home. I ended up taking 99% of her clothes to the Goodwill; it makes no sense to throw something away that someone else could benefit from.
Upon my return back here to Germany, it was evaluation time for a majority of the civilians here in the pay grade of GS-12, so that, along with other things outside of work has been keeping me busy. I'm currently taking an online course which is part of my job, but not my job...in other words, I work in a Logistics arena and that course is associated with it, even though I'm not a logistics person.
In a nutshell, this is what's been going on with me. I pray that you all are walking in prosperity and good health as our Daddy wants for us.

Ok, just to let you know, I got a PM from Pammy. She has been thinking about us just this week and says to say hello to everybody. She doesn't get much time online these days, as they watch everybody's computer usage at work. She's keeping really busy and is well.
