"Victory Over the Darkness" by Neil T. Anderson. So far...so good. I have already read "The Bondage Breaker" which he actually wrote after this one. That was a great book.

When I told him that I was going to be doing some preaching, he told me that if your going to preach you need to read this book. It is great, very solid. I agree, one of the best I have read on the subject. I highly recomend it to pastors, teachers and anyone else, especially if you preach or teach.

I am currently reading Inside Out by Larry Crabb This is an exceptional book if you desire to live deeper than surface Christianity (if there is such a thing).

"Interesting Times" from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. Whenever I'm overloaded on action/murder/suspense stuff I'll reread one of his books to get my sense of humor back. I'm very impatiently waiting for his new one to be shipped.

I have Wyrd Sisters, and a couple others on my "to read" list...I NEED the light humor right now...between school, work and "real life", I don't want anything heavy.

I'm almost finished with True Light by Terry Blackstock from the Restoration series. I'm hoping to start Hood by Stephen R. Lawhead tomarrow... (I hope they call me tomarrow saying that the book is at the library!)

And if you haven't read his Pendragon series you may as well reserve all five of them, too. I just got notified that Amazon has shipped the next Spenser novel. Looks like it'll back to murder and mayhem in a day or two. Woooooo Hoooooo!!

That's the only series by Pratchett I haven't read. I'm hoping to find the new Discworld, Unseen Academicals, in my mailbox when I get home. It's gonna be a real shame when the Alzheimer's stops him from writing any more.

I'm reading Daughters of Zion. This is part of my ongoing fascination with women stuck in plural marriages in general, and the LeBaron cult in particular. That Ervil LeBaron was truly insane. It's amazing that he got people to follow him.

Everyday Encounters with God. by Benedict Groeschel, CFR and Bert Ghezzi. I found this a very helpful book, with 30 devotionals in it. It's written from a Catholic perspective, and I'm not Catholic. But I got a lot out if nevertheless. Groeschel in particular is good at expressing his thoughts about God in a way that conforms to his own faith without phrasing things in a way that would unneccessarily put off non Catholic Christians.
