Oh Zondie, I almost forgot your question. Yes, I can expect more seizures, but am on new meds to try to control them. No more driving for me! (Not that I did much anyway)

{{{{{{{{{{{Pengie}}}}}}}}}}}} it's so good to hear from you, but I'm so sorry to hear you're don't doing so well. I hope the new pain meds work better. I hope I like the bed as much as everyone else does. My back has been killing me from trying to sleep in our bed the last few nights. It seems I have Garrett today afterall. Some kind of misunderstanding yesterday, I guess. That's ok . . I can still paint while he's asleep, if I feel up to it. Really don't right now.

Hi Zondie, Trish, Pengie & Mike! Wow, I hadn't made it in here today, I guess . . . Zondie, a friend & I went to pick up the bed yesterday . . . I don't have it unloaded yet, let alone put up. In fact, I've not even told Bill I got it. Sometimes he'd just as soon I don't discuss with him what I am going to do until I'm ready to do it or it's done -- preferably when it's done . . . anyway, I'm still working on getting my house back together. Today, I finally was able to paint the rest of the trim, get the window washed, & the screen put back on it, then once again sweep & mop the floor. I also cleaned out the fridge since it was smelling pretty bad -- some bad veggies, I guess. Still fighting fatigue, but I at least have it ready to move stuff back in now -- maybe clear out our bedroom a bit so I CAN get the bed in when I find the energy to do so. {{{{{{{Trish}}}}}}}}} It's so good to see you back on line! And back in here!! {{{{{{{{Pengie}}}}}}}}}} I'm sure hope you can get some better rest tonight . . pleast know I'm still praying for you. You are on my mind a lot as I move around the house doing my chores. Mike, so good to see you here! And thank you for following my thread

I screamed in agony trying to get out of bed on Thursday and didn't make it. The physiologist is certain that I have fibromyalgia and my doctor thinks it's a definite possibility. Just have to wait for the definite diagnosis.

Now I have a shower chair - no more baths for me. That's sad. I love my baths. That's great that your daughter has been diligent about her and Little Bit's meds. YAY!!!! I've been praying about the pain. Trish, I'm sorry about all the pain you have too. I'll be praying about that too.

Thanks Maggie. Joan had to stop having baths for quite a while. She only has one kneecap, and the other knee is weak too. John would have to get her out of the bath. Now she has to use shower chairs when she's too sore to do without them.

{{{{{{{{{PENGIE}}}}}}}}}}}} . . . I do pray the headaches go away soon. It's good to hear your daughter is being so responsible -- and great that she was able to help you out of the tub. Shower chairs are good. Honestly, I don't take many baths myself just because it seems like such a chore to get out of the tub {{{{{{{{{Trish}}}}}}}}}} is there any successful treatment for fibromyalgia? You too have been in so much pain. Please know I'm praying for you also. Hey there Mike & Maggie! We've been busy again today, but at least at a more leisurely pace. We tried to help a friend out this morning by 'setting up' her RV at the RV park so she could have a couple look at it -- it's for sale. That didnt' work out, I'm sorry to say. The park couldn't find the key that she'd left with them -- the key that unlocks the storage compartments on the RV, so we couldn't get the equipment needed to set it up. She lives 5 hours away now, and this would have been such a help to her, but we just couldn't do it. This is my friend who lost her husband last summer. We were all very close and miss him tremendously. They used to come & play cards with us all the time. Then they moved away to be near their grandchildren, and he died about 1½ years afterward. They kept the RV to stay in when they came back here to visit. She has no need of it now so is trying to sell it. Anyway, we came back home and started doing some things around here. I got the kitchen/dining room back in order, and put all the stuff back in my china cabinet. Also did a couple loads of laundry, and need to do some more. I ahve a pot of ham & beans cooking, tho, so think I'll take time to make some cornbread and eat before we go play cards with friends this eveing.

Hi Everybody! There's been quite a few posts, since I've got in here to read the last! We've had a lot of company. A close neighbor of ours, just lost their son to an overdose (yesterday evening). He had a history of drug use, and his dad told me today, "I knew this was coming, I just didn't think it would be this soon." It's so very sad how drugs are controlling these kids and young adults! This young man didn't leave a good testimony behind, and the parents and family are devastated. Please pray for them: Don and Betty. I'll try to respond to some of your posts when I get more time. I'm praying for all of you.

Zondie, that is so very sad . . will pray for your friends. Hi again, Mike! Good to see you back. Pengie, I hope your 6:00 a.m. post means you slept better last night. Yes, the chaise lounge is a very nice place to rest and to get a full view of my front yard. The lilacs are past blooming now, but the honeysuckle (right by my front door) is in bloom, then there is the dogwood -- really showing off this spring, a beautiful bridal wreath (spirea) which shows off every spring , the red honeysuckle is starting to bloom, then in the lower part of the yard, but still visible from the chaise, is a loaded snowball bush . . all very pretty. I've not gotten to work in my gardens -- too busy with the remodeling. But I have purchased some new annuals that are patiently waiting for me to get them in the ground. Our weather this week doesn't look very promising, so we'll see. My perennials are coming up great and the columbine has been blooming for over 2 weeks. Hostas, coneflowers, delphiniums, bachelor's buttons and lilies are all up and looking great, as well as a few more things I got from my sil last year that I can't rememeber the name of. I hope to get some work done outside this week, if the weather just doesn't get too awful. We had t-storms last night and we thought that's what was playing games with our lights -- on & off, on & off. We finally unplugged some things, unscrewed some light bulbs, but didn't get to sleep until around 2:00 a.m. I'm tired . . . but I'm ready for church and will be leaving in a bit. Our electric, however, is still not right and we're thinking it may have something to do with the rewiring that Brian did earlier this week. I guess when we return from my Mother's Day dinner out we'll be checking that out.

Pengie, your garden sounds lovely! (I already know Linda's looks beautiful because I've seen it.) It's wonderful that you can see so much of it from where you sit. Our trees are all still completely bare. Our lilac is just starting to bud.

My headache is keeping me taking those pain pills today, but I guess that's what they're for. Thank you , Maggie. I think our garden is turning out well. Hubby just started this one last year, so I had no idea how nice it was going to be. It is very nice to look out and see all the color and such. Especially when I'm too tired to walk through it. When I got up this morning there was a bouquet of flowers at my spot on the table and a little box wrapped in gold with an ivory bow. Inside I found a pair of white gold heart earrings with a diamond in the middle of each earring! What a surprise! I put them on right away. I've already thanked my hubby, but my daughter is still asleep . . .

Oh wow, Pengie! How nice of him! He really is a Dr. Jekyll / Mr. Hyde, isn't he? Threatening divorce because you spent money buying him something for his birthday and then going and spending WAY more for you for mother's day. Amazing. But what a lovely gift! If I'm getting gifts I haven't gotten them yet. Dh is planning a nice meal, however.

Oh Pengie, that's wonderful! About the gifts, I mean! And yeah, Maggie's right -- Dr. Jekyll/Mr Hyde, but what a treat to experience to good one -- which one was that, btw, Maggie? I'm sure you know . . . . I hope your pain goes away soon, Pengie, but yes, that is what the pain pills are for. We are still operating on only half power in the house today . . Bill checked it out and said that it is at the pole, so we've called the electric company only to be told they will put our name on a long list -- and put us down for having only half-power. . . . . owell, guess it could be worse -- we could be completely without. As it is, we still have the important things -- computer, tv, water, computer, coffee pot, bathroom, computer, tv and oh yeah, we had to run an extension to the fridge cuz it wasn't working . . . like I said -- the essentials
